Quant is a blockchain interoperability company. Its technology connects different blockchain networks and financial systems so institutions can move tokenized money between them.

The rally began after The Clearing House selected Quant on September 24. The group settles more than $2 trillion a day for 25 major US banks.

The Clearing House plans to use Quant’s technology for its On-Chain Money Initiative. This network will link tokenized bank deposits with existing payment rails, including RTP and CHIPS, and is expected to launch in the first half of 2027.

Crypto analyst Ted Pillows summed up the move on X, writing that $QNT had gone up 3x in a week. He pointed out that Quant is built into Murex MX.3, software used by 65 of the world’s 100 largest banks, and that the European Central Bank picked Quant to help test the digital euro. He also noted the QNT chart had broken out of a five-year downtrend.

Banking partnerships outside the US have grown too. A group of UK banks, including Barclays, HSBC UK, Lloyds and Santander, completed live transactions using tokenized sterling deposits built on Quant’s infrastructure.

More Partnerships Across the Globe

In Japan, Quant signed a deal with Dentsu Soken to support programmable digital money and tokenized deposits. Dentsu Soken’s systems connect with BOJ-NET, SWIFT and CLS settlement networks.

Quant has also worked with the Bank for International Settlements and the Bank of England on Project Rosalind, which tested APIs for retail central bank digital currency payments.

The European Central Bank named Quant a pioneer partner in its digital euro project, focusing on conditional payments and programmability features.

Trading Data Behind the Surge

Alongside the news, QNT’s derivatives market stayed active. Open interest reached $63.65 million, while the futures CVD climbed to 10.37K, showing buying pressure in futures markets.

Around $17.2 million in short positions were liquidated in 24 hours. Spot CVD stayed negative at -68.48K, meaning spot buying has not yet matched the futures activity.

Santiment Intelligence tracked the token’s whale activity, reporting that QNT saw 645 whale transactions worth at least $100,000 in a single day, the highest number ever recorded for the token. The firm linked the activity to the Clearing House announcement and noted that GRT saw similar attention the same day.

Price charts show resistance between $286 and $300. A close above that zone could open the door toward Quant’s former all-time high of $428.

The $200 to $210 zone is being watched as support if the rally slows. A move back above $428 would put the $500 level in focus for the first time.

As of the most recent data, QNT traded near $233 after touching an intraday high of $368, with CoinGecko showing a seven-day gain of about 189%.
