The latest daily candle opened around $1.496 and reached a high near $1.508. XRP held close to $1.503, up about 0.4% on the day.

The wider price structure is stronger than it was earlier this summer. XRP bottomed close to $1.00 in August before moving higher and building a rising series of higher lows.

That rebound pushed price above $1.40 and into a resistance zone that has capped rallies several times this year.

XRP Bulls Face $1.60 Resistance

The main barrier on the daily chart sits around $1.58-$1.65. XRP has already tested this area more than once in September, including a brief move above $1.60.

The current price near $1.50 leaves XRP below that resistance while still holding its rising trend line. A daily close above $1.60 would open the door to the $1.65-$1.70 area.

On the downside, the trend line offers first support. Below that, the broader $1.20-$1.25 zone remains the key support level.

Momentum has cooled but stays positive. The daily RSI sits at 57.14, above the neutral 50 mark but well under overbought territory.

MACD also remains positive. The MACD line is near 0.0509 against a signal line around 0.0489, with the histogram slightly positive at 0.0020.

Crypto analyst Crypto Rover pointed to this same resistance zone in a recent post. He wrote that once XRP clears these levels, “it will soar,” tying his outlook directly to the $1.58-$1.65 ceiling traders are watching.

XRP ETF Inflows Remain Positive

Institutional demand through U.S. spot XRP ETFs has stayed firm. The funds took in about $75.59 million during the Sept. 21-25 week, per SoSoValue data.

Bitwise led with roughly $58.99 million, while Franklin Templeton added about $16.60 million. Cumulative XRP ETF inflows reached near $1.79 billion.

Total net assets stood near $1.77 billion at the end of that week. The most recent daily flow data showed another $3.96 million inflow, led by Canary’s XRPC fund.

Net assets across the ETFs sat near $1.68 billion on that latest reading.

The network also has a technical catalyst ahead. XRP Ledger’s BatchV1_1 upgrade, which groups up to eight linked transactions so they settle or fail together, has slipped to at least Oct. 9 after validator support briefly reset.

Ripple has said asset managers and commercial projects are getting ready to use the Batch feature once it goes live, especially for delivery-versus-payment transactions.
