That brings total repurchases since November 2025 to 836,743 shares. The count reflects a June 2026 reverse stock split.

“As long as this dislocation persists, we intend to continue leaning in,” Wylie said. He added that capital will be allocated where it can create the most long-term value per share.

Analyst View on the Stock
TipRanks’ AI analyst tool, Spark, rates AVX as Neutral. The rating points to weak financial performance, including large ongoing losses and heavy negative free cash flow.
Revenue momentum and gross margin have improved, which helps the picture somewhat. But technical signals show the stock is overbought right now, raising the risk of a pullback.
Spark also flagged mixed signals from recent earnings and company events. Digital-asset revenue and balance sheet moves were positives.
Those were offset by a decline in liquidity and earnings swings tied to noncash charges. Tighter debt covenants and uncertainty around leadership were also noted as concerns.
The buyback program can be adjusted or stopped at any time, the company said. Purchases are made through the open market or other permitted methods.
Average trading volume for AVX sits at 150,686 shares. The stock’s current market cap is about $50.23 million.
The stock’s technical sentiment signal is currently listed as Sell. That sits alongside the Neutral overall rating from Spark.
