Bitcoin ETFs Stay Green After Monday’s $527M Surge

Monday’s flood of bitcoin money became a trickle on Tuesday. The important part was that it remained positive.

Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) added $23.16 million, lifting inflows across the first two sessions of the week to roughly $550 million. Blackrock’s IBIT attracted $29.86 million, while Fidelity’s FBTC added $3.58 million. Bitwise’s BITB shed $10.29 million.

Trading value reached $1.92 billion, with net assets closing at $106.28 billion.

The sharp slowdown from Monday’s $526.60 million inflow suggests the market has moved beyond the initial burst of repositioning. Still, a second consecutive positive session offers a stronger signal than Monday’s headline alone.

That matters after bitcoin ETFs lost roughly $229 million last week. Institutional demand around bitcoin’s price now appears to be stabilizing, even if the pace is uneven.

Ether Remains Trapped in a Withdrawal Cycle

Ether ETFs lost another $26.13 million.

Blackrock’s ETHA accounted for $33.02 million in redemptions. Fidelity’s FETH attracted $3.63 million, while Grayscale’s Ether Mini Trust added $3.25 million. Trading activity reached $624.58 million, with assets closing at $14.98 billion.

The divergence with bitcoin continues to widen.

Ether ETFs lost $320 million last week and another $129.41 million across Monday and Tuesday. Bitcoin funds, meanwhile, have already attracted close to $550 million this week.

That gap suggests institutional investors are rebuilding core crypto exposure through bitcoin first, while remaining cautious on ethereum.

Solana Extends Its Losing Streak as NEAR Finally Cracks

Solana ETFs lost $2.65 million through Grayscale’s GSOL, stretching their outflow streak to 12 consecutive sessions.

The persistence matters more than Tuesday’s modest dollar amount. Solana entered October after months of strong institutional demand. Its current run points to sustained risk reduction in higher-beta exposure.

HYPE ETFs also weakened, losing $7.34 million across all three active funds.

NEAR delivered another notable signal. Bitwise’s NRR lost $2.54 million, marking the product’s first outflow after repeatedly attracting capital during the broader October selloff.

Zcash provided a rare positive reading with a $1.61 million inflow into Grayscale’s ZCSH. XRP ETFs were unchanged.

Wealth-Management Flows Could Prove Stickier

Andrew Parish of AP Abacus argues that Morgan Stanley’s MSBT offers one of the clearest windows into affluent retail Bitcoin demand.

“MSBT is probably the purest, frankly. That’s why you don’t see any outflows from MSBT’s product. When those decisions are made, they’re made for long-term purposes,” Parish said, describing buyers as wealthy individuals allocating through advisory relationships rather than short-term institutional traders.

He said those allocations are often made with a longer horizon, commonly around 1% to 2% of a portfolio.

That distinction could become increasingly important.

Last week showed how quickly institutional money can leave the crypto market. Monday showed how aggressively it can return. If advisory-driven allocations prove stickier than hedge-fund or tactical flows, they may provide a more durable layer of demand underneath bitcoin ETFs.

For now, Tuesday’s data points to stabilization in bitcoin and continued stress almost everywhere else.
