In Brief
- NEAR Protocol (NEAR): NEAR has pulled back to its 50-day average near $4.28, and a close above $4.75 is needed to show the correction is over.
- Chainlink (LINK): LINK is down more than 25% from its September high and sits on key support near $11.00, with sellers still in control.
- Zcash (ZEC): ZEC is moving sideways between $1,050 and $1,370 and needs a daily close outside that range to set its next direction.
- Ethereum (ETH): ETH trades near $2,330 below the 100-day average and is leaning on its 200-day support near $2,320.
NEAR Protocol (NEAR): Pullback Tests the 50-Day Average
NEAR is dropping after a very strong run. The price trades near $4.43 after falling from a high near $6.00 earlier in October. The coin failed several times to hold above $5.00, and the latest red candles show that sellers are in control for now. Even so, NEAR remains far above the $1.80 area where it traded in early September, so the bigger trend stays positive.
The price has now dropped to the 50-day average, which sits near $4.28. This level helped the market climb during the rally, and buyers are now defending it. The latest candle has a long lower shadow, which indicates that some investors bought the dip. This is a good first signal, but one candle is not enough to call a bottom. The 20-day average near $4.75 now acts as resistance, and NEAR needs to close above it to show that the pullback is over.

The RSI has fallen from the overheated zone above 80 in late September to approximately 48. This means the intense buying pressure is gone and the market has cooled down. Trading volume has also dropped since the peak, so the selling is not very heavy.
A calm drop like this is often healthier than a sudden crash, as it gives the market time to reset. The averages beneath the price are all rising and are well spread out. The 100-day average is near $3.50, and the 200-day average is near $2.80. These levels are far from the current price, which shows how fast NEAR moved up.
If the 50-day average fails, the next support is around $3.50. A deeper fall could send the price to $2.80. If buyers hold $4.28, NEAR can bounce toward $4.75 and then $5.00. A move back above $5.40 would bring $6.00 into play again. For now, the market is at a key decision point. The next few daily closes will show whether this is a simple pause in the uptrend or the start of a larger correction.
Chainlink (LINK): Sellers Take Control
Chainlink is under pressure and looks weaker than most of the market. LINK trades near $11.35 after falling from a high of approximately $15.50 at the end of September. That is a drop of more than 25% in less than a month. The price has made lower highs and lower lows since the peak, which is a clear signal that sellers are leading.

The most important move is the break beneath the 50-day average, which is now near $12.30. LINK has also pushed below the 100-day average near $11.50, and this level now works as resistance. The shorter averages are turning down and sit between $12.40 and $12.70. Each bounce in October has failed near these lines, so buyers have not been able to take back control.
The RSI is near 35, which means momentum is weak but the coin is not yet oversold. This leaves room for more downside before a natural bounce appears. The indicator has been moving down since late September, matching the fall in price. There is no sign yet of a turn in strength.
The main support is the 200-day average near $11.00, and it is very close to the current price. Buyers will likely try to defend this area, because it also matches a region where LINK traded in late August. If it breaks on a daily close, the next targets are $10.00 and then $9.50, where the market started its big move up in August.
For a recovery, LINK first needs to climb back above the 100-day average near $11.50. After that, the price must reclaim $12.00 and then $12.50 to change the short-term picture. A move above $13.00 would show that buyers are back in charge. For now, the chart favors caution. LINK is sitting right on its last major support, and the next daily closes will determine whether it holds or slides lower.
Zcash (ZEC): Sideways Trading After a Big Rally
Zcash is moving sideways after a large rally. The price trades near $1,204, well under the peak near $1,700 from late September. Still, ZEC is up more than 150% from the $480 area where it traded in August, so the larger trend remains strong. The pullback has been calm, and the coin has held a range between $1,050 and $1,370 through October.

The price sits right at the 50-day average, near $1,190. Over the last few weeks, ZEC has crossed this line many times, which suggests that buyers and sellers are balanced. The 20-day average near $1,235 and another short average near $1,300 sit above the price and act as resistance. Each bounce toward $1,350 has failed, so the market is making lower highs.
The RSI is near 48, right in the middle, so there is no strong push in either direction. Volume has also dropped a lot since the peak. Low volume during a sideways move usually means the market is waiting for a reason to move. A strong volume spike will likely show the next direction.
Below the price, the long-term averages are rising and are far apart. The 100-day average sits near $1,030, close to the October low around $1,050. This is the key support. If it breaks, the next level is the 200-day average near $810. That would be a deeper correction, but it would still fit a healthy uptrend.
For buyers, the primary aim is a daily close above $1,300. After that, $1,370 and then $1,500 come into play. A return to $1,700 needs a clean break above the October highs. For now, ZEC is neutral, and a daily close outside the $1,050 to $1,370 range will determine the next move.
Ethereum (ETH): Price Slips Below the 100-Day Average
Ethereum is under pressure and now trades near $2,330 after falling from a high near $2,800 in September. That is a drop of approximately 17%. The current candles are red, and the price has slipped beneath the 100-day average, which is a negative signal for short-term buyers.

The 100-day average near $2,365 now works as resistance. Above it, the 50-day average sits near $2,460, and the shorter averages are between $2,470 and $2,540. All of them are sloping down, which suggests that the October bounces had little power. ETH needs to climb back above $2,460 to change this picture.
The most important level now is the 200-day average, which sits near $2,320, very close to the current price. The last candle touched $2,280 and moved back up, so buyers are defending this area. Still, the price is leaning on this support after many tests, and each test makes it weaker. A daily close below $2,300 would be a clear warning.
The RSI is near 38, which suggests weak momentum and is near oversold levels. This means sellers are in control, but the drop may be getting stretched. Volume has also decreased in the past few days, so the selling is not heavy yet. A rise in volume on a break lower would make the move more serious.
If the 200-day average fails, the next support is around $2,250 and then $2,100. A deeper fall could bring the price back toward $1,900, where the market started its strong rise in August. If buyers maintain the current level, ETH can bounce toward $2,460 and then $2,550. For now, Ethereum is at a key decision point. The next few daily closes will show whether the 200-day average holds or the correction goes deeper.
