Talks about Cardano’s ecosystem are moving towards practical use cases, with Charles Hoskinson emphasizing projects that will help bring in new users and foster activity within the network.

In the latest post shared by @CardaniansX, Hoskinson listed projects like Midnight, RealFi, and Pogun as examples of initiatives that can help Cardano gain popularity.

At press time, Cardano price is trading at $0.2104, with a 3.39% increase over the past 24 hours. The price movement comes as Cardano’s ecosystem continues to attract attention around new applications and use cases.

Cardano Price Holds Above the $0.20 Zone

According to the TradingView chart, Cardano price is trading at $0.2104, above the middle Bollinger Band at $0.2089.

The upper and lower bands stand at $0.2261 and $0.1917, respectively. This places the current price slightly above the middle band, while the upper band remains the next key level to watch.

The RSI is currently at 53.09, slightly above the neutral 50 level, indicating that ADA is neither overbought nor oversold.

However, the RSI remains below its 54.93 moving average, suggesting some softening in momentum. If ADA moves above $0.2261, it could strengthen the bullish setup. On the other hand, a drop below the $0.20 range could increase downside pressure.

The Cardanians X account shared comments made by Charles Hoskinson, including his statement that “The success of Cardano products is Cardano’s success.” The speaker said that Midnight was about privacy, RealFi – about microfinance, and Pogun about DeFi for Bitcoin. He also said that these initiatives bring to the Cardano ecosystem “new users, ideas and attention.”

The comments above are important since they shift the emphasis from the market dynamics of ADA to the development of applications within the Cardano platform.

Though the adoption of these products may eventually lead to higher activity within the ecosystem, the available data does not prove a direct connection between these projects and the current ADA price.

What Does Cardano Price Data Tell Us About Traders’ Actions?

CoinGlass data provides a better idea of what is going on in the derivatives market for Cardano. The open interest in Cardano has grown significantly in August, reaching about $780 million around August 22-23 and then falling.

The latest figure is still above $400 million, meaning that traders have stayed active in the derivatives market to a higher degree compared to their activity in the beginning of July. This indicates that a significant amount of open interest remains in the ADA derivatives market.

Funding rates have changed between positive and negative periods during the analyzed period. In recent days, according to the chart, funding has remained mostly positive, although there have also been brief periods of negative funding.

How Does Cardano Price Correlate With Trading Volume?

Trading volumes for Cardano have remained active, with the CoinGlass chart showing a number of volume spikes within the period analyzed.

The most significant of these was during August 22-23, when the price experienced a sharp upward movement above the $0.22 level.

However, after those peak levels, the volumes have reduced, yet still show some degree of fluctuation. This means that another increase in volume will be a critical confirmation signal if ADA wants to challenge the $0.2261 resistance level shown on the TradingView chart.

What Does On-Chain Data Suggest About Cardano?

According to thedata from DefiLlama, the total value locked (TVL) in Cardano has been around $55 million in the most recent period.

The number of active addresses and transactions have varied throughout the graph without following any one-directional movement.

This is relevant information in light of what Hoskinson said because while there is activity in the network at the present moment, there has not been enough data yet to suggest that the activity is due to Midnight, RealFi, or Pogun.

What Price Levels Must Traders Be Looking at for Cardano?

As far as Cardano price is concerned, $0.2089 and $0.2261 are the immediate technical levels to watch, based on the middle and upper Bollinger Bands. The broader $0.20 area remains an important support zone, while the $0.1917 lower Bollinger Band provides another downside level visible on the chart.

A breakout above $0.2261, especially if it comes with high volume and stronger RSI momentum, may point to bullish tendencies gaining strength.

If Cardano price falls below $0.20, it could put the current consolidation under pressure and increase the possibility of a move toward the lower Bollinger Band.

On a more fundamental note, traders need to see whether the products of Cardano are bringing any tangible results in terms of user growth and ecosystem activity.

The cryptocurrency markets are volatile, and traders need to consider price behavior, market sentiment, technical indicators, and future catalysts before making investment decisions.
