Arbitrum is strengthening its position in tokenized traditional assets through an Amundi-managed fund, highlighting growing institutional adoption. Meanwhile, the ARB price is defending key support as traders monitor a potential breakout. Sustained bullish momentum and stronger resistance levels could determine whether the token’s recovery continues in coming sessions.

Arbitrum’s Amundi Fund Holdings Surpass Ethereum

According to MSB Intel, Arbitrum holds $158.86 million of the euro share class of SAFO, a tokenized fund managed by Amundi, which oversees close to €2.6 trillion in assets. Arbitrum’s holdings have increased 103.68% over the past 90 days, putting the network ahead of Ethereum’s $64.17 million position in the same share class.

The figures highlight Arbitrum’s growing presence in the tokenization of traditional financial assets. Tokenized funds use blockchain-based representations of investment interests, potentially supporting more efficient transfers and settlement. However, the reported holdings do not necessarily translate into direct revenue for Arbitrum or additional demand for its native ARB token.

Tokenized Fund Growth Strengthens Institutional Profile

Arbitrum’s lead in the reported SAFO share class adds to competition among blockchain networks seeking to attract traditional financial products. Amundi’s involvement is notable because of the asset manager’s substantial assets under management, while the increase in Arbitrum’s holdings points to a growing position in this particular tokenized fund.

The comparison is still confined to the mentioned euro share class, instead of the whole market of tokenized assets. The $64.17 million stake held by Ethereum also proves that both networks are exposed to the product.

The key differentiator for the ARB token holders is whether the adoption will take place through the network or the token performance. Further tokenization would be helpful for the Arbitrum ecosystem; however, the impact on the ARB token depends on certain factors.

ARB Price Holds at $0.1733 as $0.23 Resistance Approaches

According to Bitcoin Meraklisi, an expert in crypto analysis, there is a significant support at $0.1733 for the ARB price. This level is critical for a positive outlook, and there might be a possible up move if the price stays above it.

The first key level is $0.23, which has been marked by the analyst as being the neckline of the inverse head-and-shoulders pattern. The analyst also highlights the trendline, which the ARB price has tried breaking unsuccessfully four times since its listing.

A breakout above $0.23 and the trendline would support the bullish thesis. However, confirmation of the pattern will only occur when there is a breakout above the resistance level. A breakdown below the support level at $0.1733 would weaken the current sentiment.

Bitcoin Meraklisi Sets $1.19 and $2.21 Bullish Targets

In addition to the mentioned $0.23 resistance level, there are two more target price levels for Bitcoin Meraklisi: $1.19 and $2.21. These levels become achievable only when the ARB price surpasses the neckline and trend line.

These levels are indicative of an aggressive bullish target and not necessarily the price targets themselves. Meeting them will require significant gains, buying interest, and positive market conditions that favor risk assets.

ARB should hold above $0.1733 to support the analyst’s thesis. The amount of trading activity in addition to momentum indicators and overall market dynamics of cryptocurrencies would decide whether ARB has sufficient power for the breakout.

What Comes Next for ARB?

Short-term technical considerations for ARB still revolve around the support level at $0.1733 and neckline at $0.23. Failure to hold support will result in further decline, while a breakout will see the attainment of the targets set by the analyst.

In the meantime, the fact that Arbitrum holds a $158.86 million stake in Amundi’s tokenized fund demonstrates its significance to the real world asset industry. However, it remains to be seen whether such adoption leads to improved ARB token performance.
