The CoinGape Stablecoin Settlement Platform Score assesses each platform’s documented institutional product, excluding unrelated services offered by the wider group. Each platform is scored on a weighted 100-point scale before the result is converted to a five-point rating.
Settlement/counterparty clarity and financial-institution fit each account for 20%. Prefunding/liquidity efficiency and fiat-exit certainty carry 15% each. Custody, compliance and resilience controls account for 10%, as does chain/corridor reach. Verifiable live scale carries 5%, using product-specific annual volume where available. Integration and fee transparency make up the final 5%.
The assessment also covers licensing, service-entity clarity, stablecoin rails, supported chains, API quality and platform maturity. A platform loses points in the relevant category when it does not disclose fees, chains, SLAs or product-specific volumes.
