Yi He, co-founder of Binance, introduced Agent ID this Tuesday. This feature allows users to claim personalized names ending in .ai for their artificial intelligence agent wallets within the Binance App. The initiative aims to replace lengthy and complex “0x” hexadecimal addresses with human-readable identifiers such as “heyi.ai”.

This initiative consolidates the Agent OS infrastructure and the Wallet Agentic Hub launched by the exchange, designed to connect AI models with automated trading and decentralized payments. By providing human-readable identities, Binance drives smoother and more user-friendly adoption for the autonomous finance ecosystem, keeping operations isolated in secure sub-accounts without external withdrawal permissions.

To get started, users must open Binance Wallet, locate the Agent ID banner, and register their preferred alias. The exchange’s next step will be to continue expanding the interoperability of these identifiers across DeFi protocols and tools compatible with the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
