Binance has enabled CEA Industries’ BNCB bStocks token as collateral across Cross Margin, Portfolio Margin and Portfolio Margin Pro, expanding the token’s use beyond spot trading for eligible customers. The rollout began at 12:00 UTC on September 14, 2026, when Binance also activated the corresponding BNCB margin-trading pair.

For qualifying VIP clients, the exchange’s announcement means BNCB can be posted against margin positions in three separate Binance frameworks from launch. Binance said the arrangement is narrower than a fully fledged margin market because BNCB cannot be borrowed at launch.

BNCB collateral across margin products

According to Binance, CEA Industries (BNCB) bStocks became an eligible collateral asset simultaneously in Cross Margin, Portfolio Margin and Portfolio Margin Pro at 12:00 UTC on September 14. The exchange said the related BNCB margin-trading pair would be enabled at the same time.

Cross Margin uses assets held in a shared margin account to support positions. Portfolio Margin and Portfolio Margin Pro are separate Binance margin frameworks covered by the announcement. The addition means permitted users meeting Binance’s VIP threshold can contribute BNCB to collateral in each of those products, subject to the platform’s applicable terms and parameters.

A September 15 briefing from CoinTools independently reported the same launch time and product coverage. It also said borrowing support was unavailable initially.

VIP 3 eligibility and regional limits

Access is limited to Binance users with VIP 3 status or above who are located in permitted jurisdictions. Users in restricted regions are excluded, according to Binance’s support guidance.

The exchange framed the collateral availability narrowly in the materials cited for the rollout, rather than as a general retail-margin offering. That eligibility condition also means the product change does not apply across Binance’s entire customer base.

No BNCB borrowing at launch

Binance’s initial BNCB rollout covered collateral use in Cross Margin, Portfolio Margin and Portfolio Margin Pro, not borrowing the token. Enabling the BNCB margin-trading pair did not change that limitation.

Collateral parameters may change according to market conditions, Binance said.

Spot and Convert listing

The collateral rollout followed a separate same-day BNCB listing on Binance Spot and Convert. In that announcement, Binance said each underlying CEA Industries share could be converted to one BNCB token.

Binance identified the BNB Smart Chain contract address for BNCB as 0x4902C5ebc598265Ed2212b559B042De8a5Eeec3f. CEA Industries trades on Nasdaq under the ticker BNC; a May 7 filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission identifies the company’s common stock as registered on the Nasdaq Capital Market.
