The Binance ETF investment portfolio has increased its wealth management products range by including 11 ETFs from the United States in Binance Earn, thus providing qualified users with access to short-term US Treasury and bond funds.

The move signifies yet another attempt by Binance to integrate conventional finance products into its crypto platform. In addition to focusing only on crypto products in its Binance Earn program, Binance is extending its services by offering investment products based on government and corporate debt.

The new ETFs that have been incorporated span varying investment horizons, from below six months to over a year. Binance has categorized the funds under three groups, namely, cash management, steady income, and yield enhancement.

This structure enables users to pick products depending on their investment objectives and timelines. Short-term investors can opt for ETFs that have been structured using short-term investments, whereas long-term investors can explore the other types of ETFs.

Binance ETF Investment Adds Traditional Market Exposure

The most recent Binance ETF investing service enables users to invest in real ETF shares instead of tokenizing conventional stocks or mutual funds.

ETFs can be bought using the Binance Earn platform, while Binance stock trading technology carries out the trading process. The orders go via Nest Trading to Alpaca Securities, where they are executed, and custody services are provided.

In addition, this system makes it possible for qualified users of Binance to invest in financial instruments of the traditional economy without transferring their investment activities to another platform.

Also, investors can get all the economic gains that are linked to the ownership of an ETF. Depending on which ETF we consider, such gains may comprise fluctuations in its market price and cash payments.

Therefore, this is another solution for users interested in diversifying investments beyond crypto assets.

Binance Continues Expanding Into Traditional Finance

The latest move from Binance towards expanding its ETF investment portfolio comes after some other attempts by the exchange to enter the traditional financial markets.

This follows earlier this month’s launch by Binance of physically settled options for more than 1,000 US equities and ETFs, thus widening the scope of tradable assets in traditional markets.

Apart from more than 7,000 equity and ETF assets available at Binance, the exchange now offers a selection of 11 funds that invest in US Treasuries and investment-grade bonds.

It further demonstrates how the large digital asset exchanges are increasingly incorporating traditional financial products in addition to crypto products. Binance is offering its platform as a place for qualified users to gain access to both digital assets and traditional assets.

Binance ETF Investment Availability Depends on Eligibility

Despite the ETF investment provided by Binance, which makes it easier for users to participate in conventional financial markets, not all Binance users can use it.

This is because of their location, eligibility, regulatory requirements, and market restrictions. There are certain requirements for some of the products before users can invest in them.

The recent introduction of ETFs means that Binance is still adding more financial products aside from cryptocurrency-based products. These new ETF products provide eligible users with opportunities to invest in US Treasury and investment-grade bond ETFs.
