Bitcoin’s (BTC) bullish structure is strengthening as buyers regain control and institutional demand improves. Despite signs of cooling momentum, trading activity remains elevated, and market sentiment is recovering as Bitcoin ETFs attract strong demand. A sustained breakout could reinforce the broader uptrend and support expectations of a stronger rally ahead.

At the time of writing, BTC is trading at $79,310.83 with a 24-hour trading volume of $48.11 billion and a market capitalization of $1.59 billion. However, the Bitcoin price has surged by 1.10% over the last 24 hours.

BTC has since climbed back above $80,000 and re-entered its broader ascending structure. If buyers maintain control and reclaim the $80,000–$81,000 region decisively, Bitcoin could strengthen its outlook and target higher resistance.

The next major hurdle sits around $97,000, where a decisive breakout could significantly improve Bitcoin’s broader market structure.

If that resistance is cleared with strong momentum, the path toward the previous all-time-high area near $125,000 could reopen. The larger chart continues resembling a lengthy accumulation phase, potentially signaling another major bullish leg ahead.

Momentum Indicators Reveal Short-Term Consolidation

According to the TradingView chart analysis, Bitcoin depicts a deep summer drop followed by a sharp late-August rally. After hitting a July low near $58,000 and consolidating around $64,000, BTC surged past $81,400.

Currently trading at $79,943.12, price action indicates a minor pullback as buyers test resistance near major psychological highs.

Indicators suggest waning momentum after the breakout pattern. The RSI declined from being overbought at 74 to 67.61, whereas the MACD histogram became negative at -32.75.

The MACD lines indicate that there might be a bearish crossover soon. This implies a consolidation period or some retracement, but still, the trend is definitely bullish.

Moreover, Ethereum spot ETFs also witnessed new investments and posted cumulative net inflows worth $141 million during the period.

Among the Ethereum products, the largest inflow was recorded in the ETHA ETF of BlackRock, amounting to $72.07 million. Positive inflows into both the major cryptos hint towards favorable sentiments from institutions.

What Comes Next?

The future actions of Bitcoin will be determined by whether the buyers continue to maintain their control and build up on the recovery.

Any continued interest from buyers may contribute to a breakout and increase positive sentiments. However, any reduced interest may result in a consolidation before the next upward move.
