What Does the Bitcoin Price Chart Show?

Based on the TradingView chart, there is a notable breakout from the recent trading range. Bitcoin has moved above the $67,333 resistance and is currently trading above the 20-, 50-, 100-, and 200-day EMAs.

The 200-day EMA is at $71,549.86, while the 100-day EMA is at $66,552.56. Trading above these levels supports the short-term bullish setup, while a move below the 200-day EMA could weaken the breakout.

Can Bitcoin Price Stay Above $72,000?

Trading volume has increased during the latest price movement, reaching around 31.52K BTC on the chart. The higher volume supports the breakout, but buyers still need to defend the former resistance at $67,333.

The next important downside reference is the $62,975 support area. Holding above $67,333 would preserve the bullish structure, while a break below it could signal a failed breakout.

How Do ETF Flows Affect Bitcoin Price?

Lookonchain’s August 20 update shows continued positive ETF flows, with “7D NetFlow: +11,149 $BTC (+$797.21M)”. The data provides a fundamental backdrop for the latest price surge and supports the current technical breakout.

What Does Bitcoin Open Interest Reveal?

CoinGlass data shows Bitcoin open interest approaching $51 billion as BTC rallied toward $69,000 on August 20.

Rising price alongside open interest indicates increased derivatives-market participation, although it can also bring greater volatility if leveraged positions unwind.

What Should Bitcoin Price Traders Watch Next?

The $71,549.86 200-day EMA is the immediate confirmation level, while $67,333 remains the key breakout level. Holding above both would maintain the bullish setup, while losing $67,333 could increase the risk of a deeper correction.

Cryptocurrency markets remain highly volatile, and traders should monitor price action and market sentiment before making investment decisions.
