Institutional interest in Bitcoin continues rising as BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust recorded $256 million in inflows. Once again, IBIT has outperformed in terms of daily capital inflows among the Bitcoin ETFs. Total Bitcoin ETF inflows exceeded $238 million, marking five consecutive days of positive flows and pushing cumulative inflows to nearly $58 billion across the expanding spot Bitcoin ETF market globally overall in the recent session.
Several factors are driving sustained institutional demand for Bitcoin exposure through ETFs. Simplified access without wallet management, improving regulatory clarity, and portfolio diversification benefits are encouraging inflows. Moreover, the growing macroeconomic uncertainty is fostering more interest in alternative assets such as Bitcoin.

BlackRock IBIT Holdings Reach $60 Billion
As revealed by Crypto Patel, BlackRock clients invested quite a considerable amount of Bitcoin and Ethereum on April 20. They bought about 3,354.93 BTC for $256.05 million at a price of around $76,350 per one unit of Bitcoin and 38,275.27 Ethereum units at around $2,332 each or $89.24 million, according to filings data.
BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust now has 806,178.381 BTC with a value of around $60.26 billion, being one of the major institutional Bitcoin funds. The steady Bitcoin accumulation indicates continued confidence in regulated spot Bitcoin ETFs and their use in the global structure of digital asset investment products.
Ethereum Holdings Signal Expanding Exposure
Apart from its Bitcoin investments, BlackRock also shows its interest in Ethereum through products such as ETHA and ETHB, totaling 3,388,084.76 ETH with an estimated value of almost $7.80 billion. Additionally, there are some 174,058.5128 ETH staked at a value of around $400 million, demonstrating the involvement of the company in Ethereum yield farming projects.
BlackRock’s continued accumulation across Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs highlights growing institutional allocation toward regulated digital assets.
