bStocks AUM Tops $500M on Binance After Strong Debut

Binance’s recently launched bStocks platform, which offers tokenized versions of U.S. equities, has surpassed $500 million in assets under management (AUM) as of July 29, 2026. The milestone comes just over six weeks after the product’s debut, signaling strong demand for 24/7 trading and decentralized finance (DeFi) integration.

Launched in mid-June 2026, bStocks are tokenized securities issued as BEP-20 tokens on Binance’s BNB Smart Chain. Each token is fully backed 1:1 by shares of the corresponding U.S. stock, held with a regulated custodian under oversight in the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM). The platform allows eligible non-U.S. users to trade equities like Tesla (TSLAB/USDT) without the traditional constraints of market hours or T+1 settlement cycles.

The rapid accumulation of AUM reflects a growing appetite for tokenized assets that combine traditional market exposure with blockchain-based features. Unlike conventional equity trading, bStocks offer near-instant settlement and can be withdrawn to self-custody wallets for use in DeFi protocols. For example, users can deploy bStocks as collateral or for lending across supported decentralized applications, opening new liquidity options for retail and institutional traders alike.

Binance’s commitment to regulatory compliance has been instrumental in building trust for the product. According to the platform, bStocks operate under an Approved Prospectus and are classified as Certificates representing Financial Instruments, ensuring full transparency and legal clarity. Corporate actions like dividends and stock splits are processed via an on-chain mechanism called a Multiplier.

While bStocks are currently limited to select U.S.-listed equities, Binance has signaled plans to expand the lineup. Future listings may include high-profile names such as SpaceX (pending a public offering), further enhancing the platform’s appeal. The ability to tokenize a broader range of assets could position Binance as a leader in bridging traditional finance and blockchain.

The milestone also highlights the market’s shifting preferences. Tokenized securities eliminate several inefficiencies of traditional equity markets, such as limited trading hours and delayed settlement. Combined with blockchain’s programmability and composability, products like bStocks are attracting investors looking for more flexibility and utility from their equity holdings.

For traders, the $500 million AUM figure underscores a critical trend: tokenized securities are not just a niche experiment but a potentially transformative market segment. Whether for direct trading or integration into DeFi strategies, bStocks offer a glimpse of how traditional financial products might evolve in a blockchain-native world.

As Binance continues to expand its offerings and user base, the success of bStocks could pave the way for other exchanges to explore similar ventures. For now, the platform’s rapid growth cements its position as a key player in the tokenized securities space.
