Martinez believes these cryptocurrencies may reach new ATHs during the next bull run.
The market’s recovery over the past few months and the arrival of October (traditionally a strong month for the cryptocurrency sector) have fueled expectations that the worst of the bear cycle is behind us and that the next bull run is about to unfold.
Analysts are already projecting substantial pumps for some leading digital assets, convinced a major rally could be right around the corner. Here’s what Ali Martinez said about Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Ripple (XRP), and Solana (SOL).
BTC and ETH
The popular analyst claimed that the primary cryptocurrency appears to have traded within a rising channel for the past two years, with the first test being the previous all-time high above $126,000.
“A decisive break above it could put the channel’s upper boundary near $190,000 in focus as a potential cycle target,” he forecasted.
Several other factors suggest BTC may indeed be poised for a serious short-term uptrend. Among them is the whale accumulation, with large investors (those holding between 10 and 10,000 units) scooping up over 41,000 coins in about 10 days.
The solid institutional demand is next on the list. Spot BTC ETFs have attracted more than $57.6 billion to date, with nearly $2.4 billion flowing into these products last week alone. In fact, the previous business week was the best on that front since October 2025.
It is important to note that the upcoming midterm elections in the US may present a hurdle to the potential bullish scenario. Not long ago, Martinez reminded that the voting in 2010, 2014, 2018, and 2022 has preceded major corrections, so we have yet to see whether history will repeat itself.
After BTC, the analyst shifted his focus to ETH, saying that its monthly chart shows an even longer channel that stretches back more than five years. He maintained that the upper boundary near $5,000 is the level to watch, and if price breaks above it, the projected move points toward $8,800.

Like BTC whales, big ETH holders have also been on a buying spree lately. As CryptoPotato reported, they accumulated roughly 60,000 units (worth around $162 million) last week. Meanwhile, cumulative total net inflows into spot ETH ETFs have surged to almost $14 billion, with nearly $700 million attracted last week.
XRP and SOL
According to Martinez, Ripple’s cross-border token seems to be forming an ascending triangle on its 30-day chart, with resistance near $3.66. He claimed a monthly close above that zone would confirm the breakout and could trigger a mega bull run toward the ridiculous (at least for now) $31.87.
One should also monitor XRP’s performance over the recent months. The asset closed July, August, and September in green for the first time in its history, fueling enthusiasm that October may be beneficial, too.
The last cryptocurrency the analyst touched on is Solana’s SOL. He spotted the formation of a classic cup-and-handle pattern, with the neckline near $295.
“A monthly close above it would strengthen the bullish case, with the pattern projecting a potential target near $2,744,” Martinez assumed.
