Cardano is working on holding an important support level while continuing to develop its ecosystem in an environment where no breakout has been observed so far. At press time, Cardano price is trading near $0.1745, marking a 0.11% rise over the past 24 hours.

Cardano’s AI Project as a Driver for Ecosystem Development
The Cardano Foundation has launched a project titled AI and Blockchain for Business Leaders, focusing on the broader use of AI alongside blockchain technology. The Foundation highlighted the need for accountability in AI, stating,
“AI agents need something to be accountable to. That’s where blockchain comes in.”
The initiative reflects Cardano’s broader effort to connect blockchain capabilities with emerging AI applications. For ADA traders, it could provide a new ecosystem narrative, although its impact on short-term price action remains uncertain.
Cardano Price Reaches Support at $0.1745
According to TradingView’s analysis, the price of ADA is currently located close to the 200-day moving average at $0.1744 and is trading under the 50-day moving average at $0.2253. Therefore, the support area for bulls starts from the $0.1744-$0.1745 region.
Resistance may be seen near $0.1916. If there is an upward move above the mentioned resistance, it will add fuel to the rebound scenario; on the contrary, a breakdown below the level of $0.1605 will weaken the rebound scenario.
The RSI indicator is at 43.81, being below the 50 level and its average value of 55.

Historical Cardano Price Returns Provide Relative Bullish Bias
According to the data from Cryptorank, The historical trend of Cardano price action is relatively favorable.
For instance, ADA recorded a return of 16.4% in July 2026, and currently, ADA has advanced by 3.70% in the month of August, suggesting that the recent monthly performance remains supportive of a bullish bias for the time being.
However, the history in general is inconclusive and hence, merely sets the context for interpretation.
Open Interest Keeps Upside Potential Alive
The futures market still carries some activity, with open interest at around $450 million, while previously it was above $500 million in early August based on the data from Coinglass.
This shows that significant derivatives positioning remains in the market, which could increase volatility if ADA approaches key resistance or support levels.

Cardano Price Volume and Liquidations Remain Neutral
In terms of volume of price action, there has been a significant fall in Cardano’s trading activity after the increase seen between August 7 and August 8.
The current liquidations are also quite mixed up. This means that traders are waiting for stronger confirmation rather than taking a definite directional position.
Important Points to Consider Moving Forward
The important areas for Cardano’s price movement are $0.1744, $0.1916, and $0.1605. Holding onto the 200-day moving average and breaking above $0.1916 will strengthen the rebound case. On the other hand, falling below $0.1605 will increase bearish pressure.
