Prediction markets are signaling that XRP will likely trade between $1.30 and $1.50 on September 1, with traders assigning the highest probability to the cryptocurrency closing in the $1.30 to $1.40 range.
According to data from decentralized prediction platform Polymarket, the most likely outcome for XRP on September 1 carries a 45% probability that the token will trade between $1.30 and $1.40. The second most likely range is $1.40 to $1.50, which holds a 36% probability.
Combined, the two ranges account for 81% of market expectations, indicating that traders broadly expect XRP to remain within a relatively tight band around current levels heading into September.
The market assigns an 11% probability to XRP trading between $1.20 and $1.30, while the chances of a move above $1.50 are significantly lower. The $1.50 to $1.60 range carries a 7% probability, while each range above that holds only 1% to 2%.
Based on the distribution of probabilities, the weighted consensus suggests XRP is likely to trade near the midpoint of the two dominant ranges, placing the expected price at around $1.40 on September 1.
Chances of XRP dropping below $1
The forecast reflects a market expectation for consolidation rather than a major breakout or sharp decline over the coming days.
Notably, prediction traders see only a 1% chance of XRP falling below $1 and a similarly low 1% probability of the asset climbing above $1.90 by September 1.
The prediction comes as XRP continues to benefit from growing institutional adoption and expanding ETF activity. To this end, filings show continued development in the XRP ETF market, including benchmark updates for the 21Shares XRP ETF and ongoing growth in institutional investment products tied to the cryptocurrency.
At the same time, XRP-related investment funds have continued attracting capital. Spot XRP ETFs recently reached cumulative net inflows of approximately $1.55 billion, highlighting sustained investor demand despite recent price volatility.
The outlook comes as XRP has staged a notable rebound above the $1 level, in line with improving sentiment across the broader cryptocurrency market.
XRP price analysis
As of press time, the token was trading at $1.39, down more than 5% over the past week amid lingering bearish sentiment.
From a technical perspective, XRP remains in a bullish structure, trading above both its 50-day simple moving average (SMA) of $1.14 and 200-day SMA of $1.28.
Holding above these key levels suggests the broader uptrend remains intact and that buyers continue to maintain control.
Meanwhile, the 14-day relative strength index (RSI) of 65.75 points to strong momentum without entering overbought territory, leaving room for further upside before excessive buying pressure emerges.
