What to know:
- Dogecoin has recovered strongly toward $0.10, with buyers defending the key $0.09 support zone.
- A move above $0.095 could strengthen bullish momentum and open the path toward $0.10.
- DOGE’s elevated RSI signals overbought conditions, increasing the possibility of short-term consolidation.

Dogecoin price looks set to move higher after recovering strongly from recent lows, and buyers are currently pushing the altcoin towards a crucial resistance level. The latest push has resulted in $0.10 regaining relevance for Dogecoin, but technicals hint that some consolidation may be required ahead of further gains.
At the time of writing, DOGE is trading at $0.09155, down 2.93% over the last 24 hours. Its daily trading volume stands at about $1.81 billion, while its market capitalization is around $15.97 billion.
Dogecoin Price Consolidates Near $0.09
A popular crypto analyst, BitGuru, pointed out the prevailing pattern on August 24, 2026. In this regard, he stated that DOGE is consolidating at $0.091 amid the rally.
As per the analysis, any break above the $0.095 level may lead to a strengthening of the bullish pattern, with eyes set on $0.10.
Consequently, the area of $0.095 becomes an essential short-term indicator that, if passed successfully, may result in further buying activity. The repeated failure to do so will likely keep DOGE within its current channel.
As the latest statistics prove, the speed at which the coin was able to react is impressive indeed. Thus, the price of DOGE rose from approximately $0.070 to above $0.09 within only three days.

Dogecoin Faces Key Breakout Test Amid RSI Warning
The technical view is good but also carries a cautionary note. Dogecoin price is currently trading above the mid-Bollinger Band at $0.07521 and trying to break out from the upper band at $0.09317. This is an indication that the current buying momentum has caused the price to move up towards the upper range of its volatility.
The reading on the Relative Strength Index (RSI) at 83.37 is also very crucial. An RSI level above 70 indicates that the coin is overbought.
This, however, does not necessarily indicate that a significant pullback is imminent. In a strong uptrend, the asset can be overbought for quite some time. Nevertheless, the high value of the RSI heightens the chances of some consolidation taking place before the bulls try to break out again.
The recent readings of the RSI on Investing.com show the indicator at 51.9, despite some short-term moving averages being in the buy zone.
What Happens Next for Dogecoin Price?
These coming sessions will decide whether the current upswing for DOGE is going to develop into a broader recovery or a cooling-down phase.
For bulls, there is a need for Dogecoin price to sustain above $0.09 and break above $0.095. Any breakout above $0.10 will confirm the continuation of the buyers’ strength.
On the other hand, the risk for bears is associated with the overbought short-term momentum. Failure to clear out resistance despite an elevated RSI reading can lead to profit booking.
Investors must keep an eye on the $0.095-$0.10 area as well. A clear breakout from this area will mean continuation of the uptrend; however, rejection will result in either consolidation or a pullback in Dogecoin price.
