GeForce NOW Expands With 26 New Games in August

NVIDIA’s GeForce NOW is kicking off August with a major content boost, adding 26 new games to its cloud gaming platform. Eight titles are already available as of this week, including World of Warships: Legends, with additional releases scheduled throughout the month. This announcement underscores NVIDIA’s push to expand its gaming ecosystem while showcasing the power of its RTX 5080 GPUs.

The August lineup caters to a variety of gaming preferences. Highlights include the free-to-play multiplayer naval combat game World of Warships: Legends, which introduces the Pacific Hammer Campaign and new U.S. destroyer ships. Other notable additions this week include Beacon Pines (free on the Epic Games Store) and strategy RPG Expeditions: Samurai. Later in the month, gamers can expect new releases like Hell Let Loose: Vietnam (Aug. 13) and Mortal Shell II (Aug. 20).

GeForce NOW’s appeal lies in its flexibility. The service allows gamers to stream PC titles from NVIDIA’s RTX-powered servers to almost any device, including PCs, Macs, Android devices, and even smart TVs. With more than 4,500 supported games, the platform connects directly to users’ game store accounts — such as Steam, Epic Games Store, and Xbox Game Pass — making it a seamless extension of existing libraries. Premium members benefit from higher resolutions, faster frame rates, and RTX-powered enhancements.

NVIDIA is also making waves at this week’s QuakeCon in Grapevine, Texas. Attendees can demo RTX 5080-powered gameplay at up to 5K resolution and 120 fps, illustrating the platform’s potential for ultra-smooth, high-definition gaming. The showcase includes support for devices like the Lenovo Legion Go S handheld, further emphasizing GeForce NOW’s cross-platform capabilities. For those not attending, NVIDIA offers a one-day pass to experience its “Ultimate” tier from anywhere.
