Grayscale Investments announced a 3-for-1 forward share split for The Zcash ETF (NYSE Arca: ZCSH), a measure aimed at tripling the outstanding shares without altering the total value of the investment. The decision comes following an accelerated adoption of the fund since the vehicle debuted in August 2026, having captured over $233 million in net inflows and approaching $890 million in assets under management.
The split seeks to optimize liquidity and make the price per share more accessible for retail and institutional investors in the regulated market. Strong demand for exposure to Zcash (ZEC) financial privacy was reflected in a cumulative traded volume exceeding $11 billion, in turn fueling the native token’s rally and difficulty records on its network.
The split will apply to shareholders of record at the close of September 28, 2026. The new shares will be distributed on September 29, and the fund will begin trading on its adjusted basis starting September 30.
