Privacy is the one corner of crypto that keeps pulling capital back in.
CoinMarketCap’s privacy category currently shows a combined market cap of $85,786,802,057, down 0.33% on the day. Trading volume sits at $4,049,021,590, up 67.13%, which tells me money is rotating inside the sector even while the headline cap barely moves.

The giants are choppy: Zcash trades at $1,330.40 but is down 12.27% on the week, while Monero holds $557.78. The real action is further down the table. Midnight is up 65.26% over seven days, and a cluster of sub-$100M names is moving on actual development news. Prices below are from CoinMarketCap’s privacy table as of today, and every project claim links to the team’s own site.
Zano (ZANO)
Zano is a privacy-by-default Layer 1 with confidential assets and private staking. Its Hard Fork 6 countdown post introduced Gateway Addresses, and the fork activated at block 3,833,000 on August 26, per its August project update. The latest chapter is the ugly one: the team said a Gateway Address flaw let unauthorized ZANO and fUSD enter circulation, so it restarted the chain from that block, erasing about a month of history. Gateway Addresses are offline pending review. That is a serious trust event, so size any position accordingly.

Price: $5.39 (market cap $83.26M). ATH: $18.18 on January 7, 2025, per CoinMarketCap. Where to buy: Zano’s official exchange page lists MEXC, OurBit, Hotcoin, XT, Biconomy, BTSE and BiFinance, plus Uniswap and its native Zano Trade DEX.
Oasis (ROSE)
Oasis sells confidential compute for applications and agents. Its homepage pushes the FlexVaults SDK for programmable vaults and announces its sponsorship of the Slovenian Cycling Federation. Both are more about distribution than a hard technical launch.
Price: $0.008325 (market cap $66.95M). ATH: $0.5964 on January 15, 2022, per CoinMarketCap. Where to buy: Oasis points holders to its Rose App for staking and bridging. Check the CoinMarketCap markets tab for centralized venues.
Phala Network (PHA)
Phala has moved fully into confidential AI. On September 30 it published Private AI Proxy, hardware-verified private inference for coding agents. It also announced a partnership with Venice AI earlier this year. It disclosed a Phala Cloud API vulnerability on June 1, which is worth reading.
Price: $0.07168 (market cap $61.46M, up 20.25% on the week). ATH: $1.41 on May 15, 2021, per CoinMarketCap. Where to buy: Phala’s CoinMarketCap profile lists Binance, Kraken, OKX, KuCoin and Uniswap.
iExec RLC (RLC)
iExec runs confidential computing with hardware enclaves and an onchain proof of every run. Its newest technical post is Chain-of-trust for Nox, Part 2, from July 23. It also confirmed that the Bellecour-to-Ethereum RLC bridge sunset on July 2. Today’s chart is the loud part: RLC is up 93.39% in 24 hours and 105.22% on the week. I found no official announcement explaining that move, so treat it as unexplained.

Price: $0.6992 (market cap $60.83M). ATH: $16.26 on May 10, 2021, per CoinMarketCap. Where to buy: CoinMarketCap’s token profile lists Binance, Upbit and Uniswap.
Arcium (ARX)
Arcium is building an encrypted supercomputer on multi-party computation, with mainnet alpha live. It published the Cerberus research paper and the Purplepaper in June. Its confidential AI product, Blackthorn, is still marked “coming soon” on the official site.
Price: $0.2817 (market cap $58.83M). ATH: $0.4676 on June 22, 2026, per CoinMarketCap, so about 40% below peak. Where to buy: CoinMarketCap tags ARX as a Binance Alpha token. Delegation happens at stake.arcium.com.
Nillion (NIL)
Nillion has repositioned around “Encrypted Markets.” Its September 26 post, Blacklight Node Migration, moves node operations to Ethereum L1 with a mainnet date of October 5, a 70,000 NIL minimum stake and 0.5% annual inflation. That fits NIL’s 28.49% daily jump, though I haven’t confirmed the mainnet actually went live.
Price: $0.1131 (market cap $57.47M). ATH: $0.9516 on March 24, 2025, per CoinMarketCap. Where to buy: CoinMarketCap tags NIL as a Binance Launchpool token.
Nockchain (NOCK)
Nockchain pitches itself as a zero-knowledge proof-of-work network for verifiable computation. Its latest writing is The PMA from May 21. It also released a whitepaper on April 30, and NOCK went live on Base in December.
Price: $0.02134 (market cap $50.02M, up 18.19% on the day). ATH: $0.1381 on October 23, 2025, per CoinMarketCap. Where to buy: It trades on Base DEX liquidity, per CoinMarketCap.
Aztec (AZTEC)
Aztec is Ethereum’s privacy-first Layer 2. On August 7 it disclosed a critical proving-system vulnerability in Alpha V5, found on July 27. It told teams to pause V5 deployments, with V6 planned for later this year. Anyone buying here is betting on that fix.
Price: $0.01718 (market cap $49.49M, down 13.22% on the week). ATH: $0.0394 on February 21, 2026, per CoinMarketCap. Where to buy: AZTEC is an Ethereum token, and its token page is the starting point. Check CoinMarketCap’s markets tab for venues.
Aleo (ALEO)
Aleo has gone all-in on private stablecoins. Its newest highlight is USDCx live in Ledger, backed by its Stablecoin Privacy whitepaper. Partners it lists include Circle, Paxos and Coinbase.
Price: $0.03032 (market cap $44.56M, up 23.14% on the week). ATH: $6.79 on September 28, 2024, per CoinMarketCap, a 99% drawdown. Where to buy: CoinMarketCap tags ALEO as a Binance Alpha token. Staking is at staking.aleo.org.
Dusk (DUSK)
Dusk targets regulated finance, with privacy and selective disclosure built in. Its latest post from September 29 covers native issuance of tokenized securities. DuskEVM and Hedger are still on testnet, and its NPEX partnership is the flagship use case.
Price: $0.08354 (market cap $41.68M). ATH: $1.17 on December 29, 2021, per CoinMarketCap. Where to buy: Dusk’s own site shows Binance, Bitvavo, Bybit, Gate, KuCoin and MEXC.

None of this is financial advice. Zano and Aztec have both had serious security events this year, and most of these tokens sit 90% or more below their peaks.
