Injective launches Mint, letting institutions and AI agents issue compliant tokenized equities, bonds and ETFs onchain in minutes.

Injective has introduced Mint, a new issuance platform designed to bring institutional-grade tokenized assets onchain through a single interface. The tool folds compliance, custody and permissions into one workflow.

Issuers no longer need to stitch together separate systems before launching an asset. Injective said users, institutions and AI agents can now create compliant onchain assets at scale. The platform enters private alpha starting today.

Injective Mint Simplifies Institutional Asset Issuance

Injective built Mint to replace a fragmented issuance process that has slowed the tokenized asset market.

Previously, every issuer had to piece together smart contracts, compliance checks, custody arrangements and liquidity separately before an asset could move onchain. Mint condenses those steps into a single platform.

Issuers can select a jurisdiction, set the supply and enter issuer details directly through the interface. They also choose a custodian, with Injective partners Fireblocks and BitGo among the current options.

Once those steps are complete, an asset can go live onchain within minutes, according to Injective.

The company has already processed more than $6.8 billion in real-world asset volume. Native asset issuance on the network has crossed $1.1 billion, placing Injective among the larger blockchains handling tokenized assets.

Built-In Compliance Rules Set Mint Apart

Every asset issued through Mint carries its own configurable rules, enforced directly at the blockchain level rather than through external contracts. Issuers can control who holds and transfers an asset, separate issuance from redemption and assign specific roles to different administrators.

Administrators also retain the ability to freeze a wallet address or pause an asset entirely if needed. Injective said these controls are meant to give issuers oversight that mirrors traditional finance while keeping the asset onchain.

Assets created through Mint are not limited to issuance alone. They can plug into Injective’s broader ecosystem for secondary trading, collateralization, lending and perpetual markets, all while retaining the rules the original issuer set.

Regulatory Filings Support Injective’s Tokenization Push

Injective has filed to become a registered transfer agent with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

The company has also published a MiCA whitepaper covering its European operations. Together, the filings are meant to open regulated pathways for Injective to expand its real-world asset offerings across both the United States and the European Union.

Injective demonstrated Mint’s capabilities by tokenizing SPDR Gold Shares, the widely traded Gold ETF, in a live walkthrough of the platform.

The demo showed the full process, from entering asset details and selecting a jurisdiction to setting up issuer information and connecting a custodian.

Injective framed Mint as part of a broader push spanning perpetual markets, agentic finance and tokenization.

The company said these three areas are meant to let users, institutions and AI agents build, trade and move value entirely onchain, with $INJ powering the underlying infrastructure.
