Japanese company Remixpoint has sharply changed course in its treasury strategy. The firm completely liquidated its altcoin positions, selling millions of XRP, Ethereum, Solana, and Dogecoin tokens to move its entire crypto portfolio exclusively into Bitcoin.

An official report published on Sept. 2, 2026, closed the chapter on the company’s experiments with alternative tokens.

Back in June, Remixpoint’s treasury strategy looked different. To protect its capital from the weakening yen, the company began buying altcoins and made a bet on XRP, accumulating a large position of around 1.2 million tokens while also adding Solana and Dogecoin to its balance sheet. Internal financial models projected revenue from the crypto segment of up to ¥12.44 billion.

However, management’s approach changed over the summer. After assessing market risks and the volatility of altcoins, the company’s leadership decided to adopt a “selection and concentration” strategy. All altcoins were sold in a single day — Sept. 1, 2026.

Loss on Dogecoin, gains on Ethereum, and 117 million yen in net profit

The total value of the transaction amounted to ¥878.81 million. Given the assets’ book value of ¥761.04 million at the beginning of the period, Remixpoint recorded a net profit of ¥117.77 million from the sale.

The results for individual coins were mixed:

  • Ethereum (ETH): profit of ¥60.20 million.
  • Solana (SOL): profit of ¥49.30 million (in addition, ETH and SOL generated ¥29.87 million in staking rewards).
  • XRP: profit of ¥11.52 million.
  • Dogecoin (DOGE): loss of ¥3.25 million.

The company will direct the realized profit toward its core energy business, expanding its fleet of industrial battery storage systems and strengthening its financial position.

Remixpoint’s crypto portfolio now consists exclusively of approximately 1,506 BTC. The decision to abandon altcoins in favor of the leading cryptocurrency was driven by pragmatism. Bitcoin generates stable passive income for the company, and through its lending program, Remixpoint accumulated 14.92 BTC in interest between February and August 2026, generating ¥164.21 million without having to sell the underlying asset.

In this context, Remixpoint has effectively completed its transition to a pure Bitcoin standard: after a brief experiment with altcoins, its corporate capital has returned to the leading digital asset.
