The investment management arm of Wall Street banking giant JPMorgan Chase has formally launched its money market funds on the Solana blockchain.
Two of them (My OnChain Net Yield Fund (MONY) and JPMorgan OnChain Liquidity–Token Money Market Fund (JLTXX)) are now accessible to qualified U.S. investors, per an October 22 press release. Investors can access the funds via JPMorgan’s Morgan Money.
JPMorgan’s launch on Solana follows its initial tokenized fund launch on the Ethereum network, marking further progress on the bank’s blockchain-based financial products.
Morgan Money is JPMorgan’s liquidity management solution. Eligible investors can use it to subscribe for or redeem shares of the funds and receive tokens at their blockchain addresses.
It enables institutional investors to manage tokenized investments through one platform, without the need to use various platforms for different blockchains.
JPMorgan continues tokenization efforts
MONY and JLTXX cater to different groups of institutional investors.
Launched on Ethereum in December 2025, MONY is a private placement fund that offers eligible investors U.S. dollar yields.
JLTXX is a U.S.-registered government money market fund meant to facilitate stablecoin issuers’ reserve management needs under the GENIUS Act.
Ethereum received its first tokenized JLTXX launch in May 2026, when JPMorgan invested $100 million of its own money into it.
With the two products, JPMorgan is now expanding the availability of its tokenized financial services on various blockchains, including Solana.
Solana grows institutional presence
JPMorgan’s tokenized funds launch on Solana is the latest development for the blockchain as it attracts traditional institutions to tokenize real-world assets.
Tokenized money market funds are blockchain-based tokens that represent conventional investment fund ownership. The goal is more efficient asset transfers and record-keeping.
They differ from cryptocurrencies like SOL, as these tokens represent an interest in investment products, not native blockchain currencies.
JPMorgan Asset Management had $4.8 trillion in assets under management as of September 30, 2026, which reflects the financial scale of the institution behind the latest Solana integration.
The company has not shared its capital allocation numbers for either fund on Solana.
