Lady Gaga has reportedly welcomed her first child with her fiancé, Michael Polansky, though the singer has not shared the baby’s name or sex. The two have been together for years and have even worked together in a number of contexts, and now they are parents.
The exciting news may impact Gaga’s presence on the Billboard charts in the coming weeks, as all the headlines featuring her name and social media chatter may very well lead people to revisit her catalog on streaming sites. That is a typical occurrence these days whenever a superstar is back in the news – either for good or bad – as streams, if not also sales, can grow. Music is readily available to anyone at any time via platforms like Spotify, Apple Music and others, and so, at this point, all press is good press, at least in this one regard.
Shortly before what may be a chart surge, one of Gaga’s breakout smashes returns to multiple rosters, while a fan-favorite album mounts a minor comeback as well.
Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face” Returns to Two Billboard Charts
“Poker Face” returns to both of Billboard’s worldwide songs rankings this week. The electro-pop classic reenters the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. at No. 163 and the Billboard Global 200 at No. 170.
The song has spent more than a year on both planet-spanning rosters. “Poker Face” has performed significantly better on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S., where it peaked at No. 28. On the Billboard Global 200, the single failed to break into the top 40 by only a few spaces, topping out at No. 45.
Lady Gaga Fills Multiple Spots on Both Global Charts
Gaga fills two spaces on both worldwide tallies as “Poker Face” returns. “Die With a Smile,” her Grammy-winning collaboration with Bruno Mars, improves dramatically at the same time.
“Die With a Smile” jumps 15 spots to No. 13 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S., placing the track just three spaces beneath the top 10 – an incredible position for a years-old composition. The collaboration simultaneously surges from No. 33 to No. 20 on the Billboard Global 200.
Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Returns as Well
While only two songs by Gaga appear on the Billboard charts this week, three of her albums can be found on at least one tally. Of that trio, Born This Way is the only returning favorite. The former No. 1 reenters the Top Dance Albums chart at No. 24. It has now spent a little more than 500 weeks on the list.

Gaga occupies three slots on the Top Dance Albums chart this frame, and her entire current charting album discography can be found on that one roster. The ranking measures the most-consumed dance projects in the United States using sales and streaming activity.
As Born This Way breaks back in toward the lower reaches of the tally, The Fame is comfortable once again at No. 2. Mayhem, Gaga’s most recent studio effort, improves one space to No. 4. All three titles have previously reached No. 1 on the Top Dance Albums chart.
Lady Gaga’s The Fame Climbs on the Billboard 200
Of Gaga’s three albums that are present at the moment, only The Fame appears on a ranking aside from the Top Dance Albums chart. Her breakout full-length climbs seven spaces on the Billboard 200, advancing from No. 81 to No. 74.
Later this year, The Fame will likely become Gaga’s first set to reach 500 weeks as one of the 200 most popular albums in the U.S. The collection, which launched Gaga to superstardom with hits like “Poker Face” and “Just Dance,” is nearing its twentieth birthday.
