The forecast comes as investors assess whether Micron can sustain its AI-driven growth momentum ahead of its next earnings report on September 30.

MU stock fundamentals

Micron’s strong outlook follows a period of exceptional business performance fueled by surging demand for artificial intelligence infrastructure and high-bandwidth memory (HBM) products.

In fiscal Q3 2026, the company reported revenue of $41.46 billion, up 346% year-over-year, while adjusted earnings per share reached $25.11, comfortably ahead of analyst expectations. Micron also posted a non-GAAP gross margin of approximately 84.9%, highlighting strong pricing power in memory markets.

Management expects growth to continue in the current quarter, guiding for revenue of about $50 billion and adjusted EPS of roughly $31, supported by ongoing supply constraints in AI memory products.

Meanwhile, analyst forecasts have since converged with that outlook, with consensus estimates calling for adjusted EPS of roughly $31.14 to $31.39 and revenue between $50.7 billion and $53 billion. Full-year fiscal 2026 adjusted EPS is projected at around $73.

Micron has also increased revenue visibility through strategic customer agreements. The technology company has signed 16 multi-year contracts across data center, consumer, and automotive markets, securing approximately $22 billion in customer commitments and around $100 billion in remaining performance obligations.

The forecast suggests Micron shares could maintain their upward trajectory as AI-related demand continues to support earnings growth.

However, investors remain focused on the September 30 earnings release, which could offer fresh insight into the sustainability of the current memory market supercycle.
