XRP traded largely flat on Monday following a volatile week marked by a broader cryptocurrency market downturn.
Notably, over the past seven days, the token has slipped roughly 1%, reflecting the wider selloff across the crypto market.
Meanwhile, analyst Javon Marks believes XRP is approaching a decisive technical point that could determine its next long-term trend.
According to Marks, XRP is “still nearing a key converging/breaking point,” suggesting that a successful breakout could push the next wave higher.
Notably, the analyst added that such a move could send the cryptocurrency toward a measured price target of $15 or more, based on the current chart formation.
The prediction centers on the idea that XRP has been compressing within a tightening structure, a pattern many technical traders associate with periods of heightened volatility once resistance is broken.

Additionally, according to analyst Celal Kucuker, the XRP/BTC trading pair is approaching the upper boundary of a long-term descending channel. He believes a breakout from that structure could allow XRP to outperform Bitcoin significantly during the next phase of the crypto market cycle.
The analyst suggested that XRP could generate returns many times greater than Bitcoin from current levels if the pattern plays out as expected. He further argued that by the time Bitcoin reaches another all-time high, XRP could already be trading above $12.

Furthermore, analyst MikybullCrypto highlighted XRP’s ongoing consolidation as a sign of strength rather than weakness.
According to the analyst, XRP’s prolonged consolidation appears to be nearing completion, increasing the likelihood of a stronger upside move. His initial price objective stands at $6, describing the current chart structure as one of the more bullish setups in the market.

That said, XRP remains in a consolidation phase, with several market analysts viewing the current period of sideways trading as the foundation for its next major breakout.
At press time, XRP was trading at $1.08, reflecting a 0.40% drop over the past 24 hours.
