NVIDIA has unveiled new capabilities in its Omniverse NuRec platform aimed at improving the scalability of autonomous vehicle (AV) perception models across different vehicle configurations. When AV software is transferred from one carline to another—such as from an SUV to a sedan—changes in sensor placement, calibration, and vehicle geometry can distort perception capabilities.
