However, IF there is a definitive break to the upside of the rectangular resistance level, there is the possibility of initiating another uptrend, with the price target for the move by technical analysts being $0.73.

Kansai Electric Brings Loyalty Points to Polygon

The data from Polygon further highlighted that adoption of blockchain technology by Japan continues to grow through a partnership between MOACT, the loyalty rewards arm of Kansai Electric Power, and HashPort to put customers’ loyalty reward programs on Polygon. 

The partnership will enable the conversion of loyalty points earned by customers to a stablecoin called JPYC, which is pegged to the Japanese Yen.

Once the loyalty points have been converted into JPYC tokens, customers will be able to store, transfer, and use these tokens within the Polygon blockchain ecosystem. 

The alliance underscores the increasing popularity that large-scale Japanese corporations are showing towards blockchain adoption in daily financial operations and enhances the network’s standing as an optimal blockchain platform for payments.
