What to know:
- Polygon pushes embedded wallets with email/passkey login and a dashboard for PoS and zkEVM management.
- Cuts onboarding friction vs seed phrases, competing with Privy/Dynamic/Coinbase, as Polygon does 3M daily txs.
- GA, pricing, and activation rates will show impact for apps, exchanges, and institutions.

Polygon is using embedded wallets to help consumers access crypto services by turning them onboarding layer by default. The new blockchain solution from Polygon lets app developers create non-custodial wallets, which can be integrated with familiar Web2 onboarding (sign up) and a unified dashboard to handle all aspects -users, policies, and transactions.
Embedded Wallet Stack
The product solves a common UX dilemma between blockchain and traditional web onboarding. Rather than directing users to MetaMask or seed phrases, one wallet is a creation with one click – it’s just an email, a passkey, or a social login with account abstraction taking care of gas sponsorship and session keys.
The product gives an all-in-One dashboard for developers, allowing them to manage provisioning, access controls, analytics, and cross-chain operation s across their PoS and zkEVM blockchains. It will probably compete with Privy, Dynamic, and Coinbase Embedded Wallets, but will be more native to a Polygon based ecosystem.

One-Click Embedded Wallets
It is not only launching a new feature through Embedded Wallet, which will offer non-custodial onboarding but also a solution for the user experience gap between blockchain and the normal web.
Instead of requiring user to switch from MetaMask or seed phrases, a mobile user can create an account by just using email, passkey, or a social login, and account abstraction will do gas sponsorship and session keys.

Why Embedded Wallets Are Important for Adoption
Embedded wallets have recently emerged as one of the most important pieces of infrastructure in the crypto ecosystem as payments with stablecoins, as well as consumer-based web products and services, begin to take off. Yet, while their PoS network is still capable of processing over 3 million transactions daily based on Polygonscan, users still tend to switch if they have to use external wallet apps for onboarding.
By letting users have wallets as a right yet keeping them out of sight, embedded solutions not only help reduce churn in areas such as gaming, loyalty, and fintech apps but they also provide institutions with hooks they have long been needing for KYC-linked custody.
