Pump.fun removed from the App Store in the US and India
Carl, Pump.fun’s mobile app lead, in an X post, confirmed the restriction on September 11. The restriction only affects potential users who want to download the Pump.fun app for the first time from the iOS App Store in the US and India.
Carl stressed that users who already have the app installed in the US and India can continue using it normally. He added that despite the App Store restrictions in both regions, user funds are safe.
“For everyone who already has the app installed, everything is operating as usual, and your funds are safe,” wrote Carl.

According to the mobile app lead, the removal is temporary, with the team expecting the app to be listed again in the near future. Carl disclosed that the team will continue shipping updates to all users, noting that it is “business as usual.”
Despite the assurances, Pump.fun did not provide a reason for the temporary App Store unavailability. However, a timeline for Pump.fun’s return to the iOS App Store in the USa nd India remains unclear, with pundits predicting an extended stretch for both jurisdictions.
Android users in the affected markets can download the application through Google Play. Furthermore, users in the US can still access Pump.fun through its web platform with no georestrictions in place.
Meanwhile, Pump.fun has also expanded the functionality of its ecosystem. The platform recently added tokenized stocks as pairing assets for token launches, including assets linked to Tesla, Nvidia and Circle.
Back in August, Pump.fun added HyperEVM support on its mobile app for USDC trading, pushing the frontiers of its product.
