Ramp Launches Solana Stablecoin Accounts

Ramp launches stablecoin accounts on Solana, enabling businesses to manage USDC, USDT, and fiat payments in one workflow.

Ramp has pushed stablecoin payments out of beta and into general availability. The finance platform says businesses can now hold, move, and account for fiat and stablecoin funds in one place.

The rollout matters for crypto because it pulls USDC and USDT into the same workflows many companies already use for bills, cards, and reimbursements.

SolanaFloor said the launch settles on Solana, while Ramp’s own posts and product pages frame the move as a way to keep payments running around the clock.

Ramp Stablecoin Accounts Bring Crypto Into Finance Workflows

Ramp says the new stablecoin account lets businesses hold digital dollars directly on its platform. The company adds that balances can earn rewards of up to 3.25 percent.

The launch also folds stablecoins into the same approval chains and accounting sync tools used for regular spend.

That matters because finance teams no longer need a separate wallet workflow to pay in crypto.

Ramp first tested the product in public beta earlier this year, then widened access on July 21, 2026. Its PR release says the update is now open to all Ramp customers.

For businesses, the pitch is simple. Money can move outside bank hours, and stablecoin payments can settle in minutes instead of waiting for wire cutoffs.

USDC and USDT Payments Stay Inside One Approval Stack

Ramp’s help center says bill pay can send USDC or USDT globally and that stablecoin payments carry no fee.

It also says payments from a Ramp Stablecoin Account can be processed and delivered within five minutes, 24/7.

The company says vendors need a stablecoin wallet, which can be added through Ramp’s vendor tools. It also says the feature is not available in New York State.

Ramp’s blog says the product can also fund stablecoin payments from a USD bank account. In that setup, Ramp converts dollars before sending stablecoins to the vendor.

That setup keeps stablecoins inside the same finance stack used for invoices, reimbursements, and accounting.

Ramp says the balances sync as cash equivalents and stay matched to the ledger.

Solana Gets a Clearer Role in Ramp’s Stablecoin Push

SolanaFloor framed the rollout as a win for Solana, saying Ramp’s stablecoin accounts now run on Solana.

Solana’s own X account also repeated that framing, tying the launch to a payment rail already used by crypto firms and treasuries.

Ramp’s product pages describe the move as part of a broader shift toward internet-native money.

The company says stablecoins remove weekend freezes, correspondent-bank delays, and wire-window limits.

The custody side stays separate from the user experience. Ramp says it is not a bank or digital asset custodian, and that custody sits with Bridge Building Inc. and its affiliates.

That structure helps explain Ramp’s position in crypto finance. It is not trying to become a wallet app.

It is trying to make stablecoins behave like a normal business payment method inside one operating system.
