DriveWealth has partnered with Ripple to integrate stablecoin settlement, cross-border payments and digital asset custody into its global brokerage infrastructure. The collaboration will initially support settlement in Europe, with plans to expand to the United States.

The integration will use Ripple’s stablecoin infrastructure, including RLUSD on the XRP Ledger (XRPL), alongside Ripple’s mint and burn capabilities. The companies aim to help DriveWealth clients fund and manage collateral accounts using stablecoins that can be converted into cash in near real time.

Ripple to Integrate RLUSD Settlement and Cross-Border Payments

The partnership covers four areas: stablecoin settlement, cross-border payments, digital asset custody and equity financing.

DriveWealth is integrating Ripple Payments to facilitate cross-border transfers from its global partners. It is also working with Ripple to support digital asset custody in Europe, with plans to expand into additional markets.

Separately, DriveWealth and Ripple Prime are exploring equity financing opportunities through Ripple Prime’s Delta One business, which provides institutional services across U.S. equities and equity derivatives.

The companies also plan to connect DriveWealth’s treasury and custody infrastructure with Ripple’s systems, allowing clients to manage dollars, stablecoins and cryptocurrencies through a more unified setup.

DriveWealth Partnership Targets Faster Funding and Settlement

U.S. equities settle on a T+1 basis, while cross-border money transfers can take longer. This difference can increase funding requirements and leave capital unavailable when financial institutions need it.

The integration aims to help international clients move funds without relying entirely on traditional banking transfer windows and cutoff times. DriveWealth already supports 24/5 trading and expects the new funding capabilities to better align money transfers with its trading services.

“Our partnership with Ripple empowers us to extend the same funding, and custody experience our clients already rely on to stablecoins and digital assets,” said Naureen Hassan, CEO of DriveWealth.

Jack McDonald, Ripple’s senior vice president of stablecoins, said the partnership would extend beyond cross-border settlement to include trading, custody and settlement infrastructure.

DriveWealth provides brokerage infrastructure to more than 100 partners globally, including fintech companies, digital wallets and financial institutions offering access to U.S. markets.

Ripple Expands Institutional Partnerships

Ripple has also partnered with South Korea’s Meritz Securities to explore digital asset custody and tokenization for Korean capital markets. The agreement marks Ripple’s first partnership with a South Korean securities firm and its fourth institutional partnership in the country in 2026, following collaborations with Kyobo Life Insurance, Kbank and Jeonbuk Bank.

Separately, Evernorth has selected Ripple, Kraken, Coinbase and BitGo as partners for its XRP treasury strategy, involving approximately $648 million in XRP holdings. These developments highlight Ripple’s expanding institutional presence across digital asset custody, tokenization, payments and XRP-based financial services.

Ripple and DriveWealth are scheduled to discuss their partnership during a fireside chat at Ripple Swell on October 28 in New York City.
