Evernorth Expands XRP Treasury Operations

Evernorth began trading on Nasdaq under XRPN on October 12, following its merger with Armada Acquisition Corp. II. The company holds XRP and seeks to increase its holdings through active treasury management.

On October 14, the company outlined plans to deploy its 473 million XRP through institutional trading and yield strategies. The move follows Ripple’s XRP lending plans, which remain tied to proposed network upgrades. The company works with Ripple, Kraken, Coinbase and BitGo on these initiatives.

Evernorth named former Coinbase Asset Management executive Hugo Jeandesboz chief investment officer on October 12. He oversees treasury allocation, liquidity and trading relationships. Former Ripple executive Asheesh Birla leads the company.

Ripple Swell Brings Finance and XRPL Groups Together

Ripple Swell runs at The Shed in Hudson Yards from October 27 to 29. The event combines Swell with XRPL Apex and UBRI Connect, linking financial institutions, developers and university researchers.

Evernorth joins Ondo, RedotPay and the XRP Ledger Foundation among the event’s partners. Separately, Ripple recently expanded XRPL wallet support through Privy, enabling developers to add XRP and RLUSD wallets to applications.

Ripple expects roughly 1,500 attendees across banking, payments, digital assets, and research. Confirmed speakers include executives from Robinhood, BNY, and CME Group, alongside Ripple chief executive Brad Garlinghouse.

XRP Ledger Sessions Set for October 28

David Schwartz, an XRP Ledger co-creator, will join Ripple engineering leader Ayo Akinyele for “Building What’s Next for XRPL.” The session is scheduled for October 28 at 4:30 p.m. Eastern time.

Their discussion will address network privacy, scalability, decentralized finance, and services for institutions. Other sessions will examine tokenized assets, stablecoin payments, AI-driven transactions, and digital asset custody.

The conference follows a mixed week for XRP investment products. Recent XRP fund outflows ended a 13-week inflow run, while the company continued developing institutional services and treasury products.
