The official SALT X (Twitter) account just dropped a speaker announcement for the 2026 Wyoming Blockchain Symposium scheduled for August 17 to 20: Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse.
Garlinghouse is set to headline the third annual Wyoming Blockchain Symposium, an invitation-only gathering hosted by SALT and Kraken at the Four Seasons Resort in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. This event unites 500 leading investors, builders, and policymakers to shape digital asset regulation and institutional adoption.
The event, which brings together major participants in the digital assets ecosystem for focused discussion and networking, will feature notable speakers including Andrew Cuomo, former governor of New York; Galaxy’s Mike Novogratz; Michael S. Seliq; Cynthia Lummis; Carlos Domingo of Securitize; White House Council of Economic Advisers’ Aaron Hedlund; John Hoffman of Ondo Finance; Anthony Scaramucci, the founder and chairman of SALT; David Ripley of Kraken/Payward; Caitlin Long of Custodia Bank; Nasdaq’s Kevin Kennedy; Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson; Stellar Foundation CEO Denelle Dixon; among others.
The goal of the Wyoming Blockchain Symposium is to catalyze more forward-thinking digital asset regulation, create a more decentralized, rather than centrally planned, global financial system, and drive greater institutional understanding and adoption of blockchain infrastructure.
Ripple takes center stage
According to SALT’s website, Ripple has been named one of the sponsors of the event, sitting in the ‘Grand Teton’ category alongside major companies such as Galaxy, Clear Street, and Multicoin Capital.
SALT and Kraken Exchange are hosting the Wyoming Blockchain Symposium with support from the University of Wyoming Center for Blockchain and Digital Innovation.
The University of Wyoming is a partner in Ripple’s University Blockchain Research Initiative (UBRI), making the event significant for Ripple.
The announcement adds to the list of major speaking engagements on Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse’s calendar as Ripple continues to be a key player in conversations about blockchain adoption and digital asset policy.
Ripple is gearing up for Swell 2026, its annual event in New York City from October 27 to 29, 2026, bringing together leaders in finance, fintech founders, developers, and researchers.
