Securitize has launched a new tokenized fund that is taking Neuberger Berman’s $230 billion fixed-income business onto public blockchains. The launch allows for access to high-yield debt to more institutions and links traditional portfolio management with blockchain infrastructure.
New Fixed-Income Channel
The Neuberger Securitize High Income Tokenized Fund, known as HINC, targets risk-adjusted income through high-yield bonds and other fixed-income assets. Neuberger Berman joins the strategy as subadvisor, adding research expertise developed across decades of market cycles.
Moreover, HINC will operate across Avalanche, Ethereum, Solana, and Sui. This multichain structure could broaden distribution and offer eligible investors more flexibility.
Institutional Tokenization Grows
Securitize Capital serves as the fund’s investment adviser and will oversee the strategy. Additionally, investors must meet accreditation and qualification standards, complete KYC and AML checks, and satisfy jurisdictional requirements.
The launch also strengthens Securitize’s position in institutional tokenization. The company recently became an SEC-registered investment adviser, expanding institutional support.
Meanwhile, Securitize reported $3.4 billion in tokenized assets under management in its latest first quarter. Consequently, HINC could become another test of whether blockchain infrastructure can attract established fixed-income investors.
