Sei Labs has developed a new security protocol for providing protection to the current EVM accounts in the face of any possible cryptography attacks in the future. The SIP-5 suggests a mechanism through which the users can migrate themselves to secure themselves by registering quantum-resistant keys without compromising their addresses or balances. The development brings a new dimension of security to the Sei platform, as the SEI price is trading close to $0.064, according to the setup provided by the analyst.
Sei Introduces SIP-5 for Post-Quantum Account Security
SIP-5 proposes a framework for transitioning existing Sei EVM accounts toward post-quantum authorization. The proposal addresses a potential future risk: sufficiently powerful quantum computers could undermine conventional cryptographic systems used to authorize blockchain transactions. However, this remains a preventive measure rather than a response to an active quantum attack.

This registration would be tied to an account, for which a quantum-resilient public key can be used. The ML-DSA-44 digital signature algorithm from the US National Institute of Standards and Technology is proposed as the first alternative under SIP-5.
The proposed migration solution should preserve current addresses, balances, and contact information. However, it should be noted that SIP-5 is just a proposal and requires additional development and testing.

Post-Quantum Migration Adds a Long-Term Security Focus
The proposal by Sei creates a migration route that will be applicable before quantum computing becomes a threat to classical blockchain encryption. Such planning may ultimately necessitate collaboration between users, wallets, exchanges, and infrastructure operators.
The technique faces technical issues too. Signatures that use post-quantum cryptography will be larger than conventional signatures, making transactions bulkier and more costly. Tests will need to be run to evaluate the performance of the suggested system on the network.
SIP-5 deals with EVM account permissioning and doesn’t automatically make all parts of Sei quantum-safe. Cryptographic mechanisms other than EVM need to be analyzed separately. In terms of SEI trading, SIP-5 gives some ecosystem information but not an instant rise in token demand.
SEI Price Tests $0.060–$0.062 as Falling Wedge Develops
According to crypto analyst Alpha Crypto Signal, the falling wedge formation can be spotted on the SEI price chart, where the price has been testing the horizontal support between the $0.060 and $0.062 levels. The analyst mentions the price of $0.064 and suggests a possible long trade scenario provided the price defends this level.
An upside breakout may take the SEI price to the upper trendline of the wedge formation, while a breakout above it will clear the path to the mid-$0.07 region.

However, the setup has an obvious invalidation level. A four-hour closing of candles below $0.060 would invalidate the bullish outlook by confirming that the mentioned support has been broken.
These levels are determined based on the analysis conducted by the analyst and not on independently verified live market figures. Volume and momentum indicators might confirm these levels.
Alpha Crypto Signal Sets Conditional Upside Target
The outlook for the Alpha Crypto Signal is contingent upon the SEI price providing support and breaking out from the falling wedge. The mid-$0.07 zone acts as a possible target area, but not necessarily a destination.
In case of price reversal without crossing the upper trend line, continuation of the formation becomes possible, but a drop below $0.060 will be considered a bearish scenario.
What Comes Next for SEI?
The next milestones to look for include SIP-5’s journey towards its implementation, testing, and possibly some decisions about the governance. The other milestone that should be mentioned is how SEI will react at levels of $0.060-$0.062.
The proposal by Sei shows the importance of a long-term infrastructure focus, but the short-term direction of prices will be dependent on the market environment. Maintaining support may allow testing of resistance at the wedge level, but confirmation of breakout is required to solidify the argument for movement to around mid-$0.07.
