Solana Whale Invests $3.6M in SOL After 2-Year Pause
The data from Lookonchain further highlighted that after being away from the market for almost two years, the Solana whale has made its way back by buying 47,535 SOL valued at around $3.6 million.
This whale collected 291,790 SOL during the downturn in 2023 at an average price of $23.37, which proved that it positioned itself perfectly before the Solana rally.

With the rise of SOL, the whale offloaded 191,789 SOL worth about $24.62 million at an average cost of $128.36, realizing over $20 million in profits.
The most recent acquisition shows optimism in the SOL network even amid its latest dip. It is important to note that a single whale’s activity does not point to a trend reversal.
Following the bullish price predictions and whale accumulation, the Solana price is moving in an upward direction. This move is also backed by the improving sentiment in the crypto market as Bitcoin has started to move upward, which has impacted the overall market.
The Solana price’s next steps will be contingent on how well the support holds and the strength of the buying pressures.
Accumulation by whales, increased adoption, and improved liquidity might just be the factors that help drive a long-term recovery for SOL. However, further corrections cannot be ruled out.
