Strive Adds 1,355 BTC to Treasury
Strive remains the fifth-largest public Bitcoin holder, behind Strategy, Twenty One, Metaplanet and MARA. It needs another 17,160 BTC to pass Twenty One’s 43,514 BTC. Strive would need to buy about 1,226 BTC weekly across the final 14 weeks of 2026 to reach that level.
Strive had already increased its treasury to 25,000 BTC after buying 469 BTC for $36.6 million in the prior week. That purchase used SATA preferred stock funding. The latest filing showed nearly 786,000 warrant exercises generated about $21.2 million in gross proceeds.
Strategy Returns to Bitcoin Buying
Strategy returned to the market after keeping its Bitcoin holdings unchanged for two weeks. The company bought 950 BTC for about $75.7 million between Sept. 14 and Sept. 20. It paid an average of $79,670 per coin, raising holdings to 846,000 BTC.
Before the purchase, Strategy directed cash toward preferred-share repurchases while pausing Bitcoin additions. The company spent about $174 million repurchasing STRC preferred shares. Its Bitcoin holdings cost about $63.8 billion at an average of $75,416 per coin.
Bitcoin Rebound Lifts Treasury Values
Bitcoin moved above $85,000 for the first time since January. The asset gained more than 5% over 24 hours, while at least $648 million in short positions faced liquidation. The move pushed many corporate Bitcoin treasuries above an estimated average acquisition cost near $80,500.
Broader corporate demand has slowed. Strategy had paused Bitcoin buying for two weeks before returning. Listed companies added about 5,900 BTC over the past three months, compared with roughly 89,000 BTC in July 2025 alone. Strive and Strategy spent about $183 million combined on Bitcoin last week.
Strategy’s Bitcoin balance would be worth about $71.9 billion at $85,000. That stands roughly $8.1 billion above its aggregate acquisition cost. Strive shares traded near $29.65 on Monday after TD Cowen raised its price target to $44 and lifted its year-end Bitcoin holdings estimate to 32,105 BTC.
