Trump Media & Technology Group has transferred another 2,628 Bitcoin (BTC), valued at approximately $165 million, to Crypto.com, extending a series of Bitcoin sales that began months ago. The new transfers of funds shows the company is still lowering its Bitcoin treasury despite having a large amount of digital assets left.

According to a recent post by EmberCN, Trump Media initially purchased 11,542 BTC at the average rate of $118,522 per coin. During the last seven months, the company has been gradually decreasing its initial Bitcoin treasury, transferring some of it into the Crypto.com wallet in several transactions. Trump Media Retains 4,261 Bitcoin Holdings

Thus, the latest transaction resulted in an increase in the total amount of sold BTC from Trump Media to 7,281 BTC, which in total amounts to approximately $545 million.

The average selling rate per BTC is equal to $74,855, significantly lower than its initial purchasing rate. Thus, according to the numbers provided, the amount of money earned from sales reflects a serious drop in the prices for BTC compared to the initial buying price.

After the last sale, according to the data from Arkham, the amount of BTC still belonging to the company’s treasury makes up approximately 4,261 BTC worth $269.8 million. Previously, the company transferred another 2,650 BTC, worth $205 million, to the Crypto.com wallet on May 22.

The continued reduction suggests an ongoing treasury management strategy rather than an isolated transaction, although the company has not publicly explained the purpose behind the transfers.

Regulatory Debate Adds Attention to Trump Crypto Activity

The Bitcoin sales coincide with growing political and regulatory attention surrounding digital assets in the United States. Lawmakers are continuing discussions over the Digital Asset Market Clarity (CLARITY) Act, with debate focusing on market structure, oversight, and stronger ethics provisions concerning public officials’ relationships with cryptocurrency businesses and digital asset ownership.

Critics have also highlighted several Trump-linked cryptocurrency ventures, including the Official Trump (TRUMP) and Melania (MELANIA) memecoins, alongside World Liberty Financial’s WLFI governance token and USD1 stablecoin.

While current CLARITY Act discussions include proposals to strengthen ethics requirements around issuing or sponsoring digital assets, the legislation does not require companies to liquidate existing cryptocurrency holdings.

Market participants will likely continue monitoring Trump Media’s remaining Bitcoin reserves for further wallet activity, as additional transfers could influence investor sentiment surrounding corporate Bitcoin treasury strategies.
