Uniswap’s latest volume shows its lead is becoming harder for rival DEXs to challenge. In terms of total volume, Uniswap [UNI] has now surpassed $71.1 billion in volume over 30 days, solidifying its status as the most popular choice for decentralized spot trading.

Even more impressive is Uniswap’s ability to maintain consistent volumes over shorter time frames. Over the last seven days, the platform processed over $21.3 billion in trades. In just one day, the protocol saw an influx of nearly $2.0 billion.

The persistence of high trade volumes indicates that users are choosing to utilize Uniswap as their primary option for liquidity, rather than seeking temporary alternatives.

Meanwhile, PancakeSwap [CAKE] trailed UNI closely, reaching $29.8 billion over 30 days. Despite that, there is a notable gap between the two leaders. Uniswap’s multichain access supports that advantage, while Ethereum [ETH] and Robinhood Chain provide major sources of activity.

Therefore, the widening volume gap points to stronger liquidity and user preference, reinforcing Uniswap’s position across decentralized markets.

Uniswap turns volume into value capture

Uniswap’s trading volume dominance is now translating into direct protocol revenue. For instance, the protocol generated $28.2 million in revenue from $297.9 million in trading fees from January through July, according to Token Terminal data.
