As the XRP community celebrates the successful uncovering of an $8.5 million XRP staking scam by the South Korean police, an XRP Ledger Validator Vet has warned that the biggest wave of scam attempts may still be ahead.

While the rising cases of malicious attacks are increasingly becoming concerning, the validator has issued a crucial warning amid anticipations of a major event.

XRPL’s first lending protocol could pose more threats

The warning from Vet came amid the viral news of the arrest of individuals accused of stealing 3.4 million XRP from community members through a fraudulent investment scheme.
