XRP Ledger network activity has recorded another substantial expansion, with one of its core throughput indicators rising roughly 60% over a 24-hour window. The move adds to evidence that XRPL usage remains elevated compared with much of the past year.

XRP moves in

According to the supplied XRPScan data, transactions per ledger recently reached roughly 128.4, compared with a 30-day average of 109.88. The chart also shows the metric at approximately 142.43 on September 29, demonstrating that recent activity has repeatedly moved well above its longer-term baseline.

Transactions per ledger measures how many transactions, on average, are included in each validated XRPL ledger. Unlike raw transaction totals, it provides a useful view of how densely the network is being utilized as ledgers continue closing.

The latest increase therefore indicates considerably heavier transactional demand. It also fits a broader pattern visible since August: XRPL has repeatedly produced bursts toward 150-200 transactions per ledger after spending much of June and July closer to approximately 60-100.

Taking it with caution

Higher transaction throughput does not automatically translate into higher XRP demand or price. XRPL transactions are inexpensive, and activity can originate from payments, decentralized exchange operations, token transfers, and automated transactions. A sustained increase matters considerably more than a single 24-hour spike.

Still, the current reading is notable because it exceeds the 30-day average by roughly 17%, even after retreating from the Sept. 29 level. That suggests the increase is not purely an isolated intraday anomaly.

For XRP, sustained network expansion would strengthen the fundamental side of the current market setup. The key confirmation would be transactions per ledger remaining consistently above the 30-day baseline rather than immediately returning toward previous levels.

The all-time high shown in the supplied data remains much higher at 329.29 transactions per ledger, so XRPL is nowhere near unprecedented congestion or utilization. Instead, the latest 60% daily increase points to a renewed acceleration in activity within an already stronger period for the network.
