XRP Price

The price is down about 2.7% at the time of capture. That move pushed XRP below its recent rising trendline.

XRP bounced from an August low near $1.00 and built a short-term uptrend through September and early October. The break below the trendline suggests that bullish momentum has weakened.

Buyers now need to defend the next support zone. That area is a grey demand band between $1.25 and $1.30, where the price sits today.

Chart Analysis

The daily RSI reads 35.06. That is close to oversold territory, but XRP is not there yet. It suggests sellers still hold some control.

MACD remains weak and close to a bearish position. That fits with the view that upside momentum has cooled.

If the $1.25-$1.30 zone fails, the next broader support sits between $1.00 and $1.10. On the upside, XRP needs to recover $1.38-$1.42 first. A larger resistance zone waits near $1.55-$1.65. The level to watch next is $1.25.

Market Backdrop and Analyst View

The wider market has just gone through a heavy leverage flush. Total liquidations reached $959.43 million over 24 hours. Long positions made up $879.71 million of that total.

Over the last 12 hours, liquidations totaled $669.25 million. Longs accounted for $624.86 million. Such events often pressure large altcoins like XRP.

Analyst Ali Charts shared a view on the hourly chart. He said XRP appears to be trading inside a parallel channel. He noted the token could still drop toward the lower boundary near $1.25 before a rebound.

Ali Charts said $1.25 is the level he is watching for a possible buying opportunity. A bounce there could send XRP toward the mid-range at $1.42. The top of the channel sits near $1.60.

Ripple has kept adding institutional news. On Oct. 14, it announced a partnership with DriveWealth. The deal aims to bring institutional digital-asset infrastructure to global investing platforms.

Ripple also announced a partnership with Meritz Securities. That deal focuses on custody and tokenization in Korea’s capital markets.

A few days earlier, Ripple said Standard Chartered had launched RLUSD custody. The bank also joined a planned collateral integration with Ripple and LMAX Group.

U.S. spot XRP ETF flows were flat or very modest into Oct. 14. XRP Desk said tracked ETF holdings changed by just -3.4K XRP on its latest sheet date.

Another tracker showed a partial daily total of roughly $0.7 million in net inflows. Only two of five funds had reported at the time.

For now, XRP is still inside a larger recovery range. The latest data shows it holding near $1.29, just above the $1.25 level.
