XRP price has slipped below $1.50 to trade near $1.48 as Evernorth’s proposed 473 million XRP treasury deal has cleared a shareholder vote, with the token holding just above its daily 20-day moving average.

Summary

  • XRP price traded near $1.48, above its daily 20-day moving average at $1.447.
  • The 4-hour chart placed price near the lower Bollinger Band, with ADX at 18.57.
  • Ali Charts identified $1.54 as the hourly breakout level for a possible move toward $1.70.
  • Armada shareholders approved the Evernorth transaction, while closing and Nasdaq requirements remain outstanding.

TradingView’s Binance XRP/USDT daily chart showed XRP at $1.4784 on Oct. 1, down approximately 0.78% for the session, after trading between $1.4744 and $1.5103.

Below the $1.50 level, the daily chart showed XRP retreating from its September peak near $1.65. Price remained above all four displayed daily moving averages, although the Chaikin Money Flow indicator had fallen below zero.

The shareholder approval advances Evernorth’s proposed public-market transaction. According to the transaction materials, the expected treasury balance includes previously purchased and contributed XRP rather than a new 473 million-token purchase triggered by the vote.

XRP price holds above the $1.447 daily moving average

On the daily TradingView chart, the 20-day simple moving average stood at $1.447, approximately 2.1% below the displayed price. The rising average sits beneath the recent pullback from September’s highs.

Further down, the chart placed the 50-day average at $1.3672, the 200-day average at $1.2802 and the 100-day average at $1.2239. XRP remained above each level following its recovery from the August low around $1.

September’s advance carried XRP from roughly $1.28 to the $1.65 area before the latest decline, according to the daily price history. The recent candles show a sequence of lower highs after that peak, with price returning toward the rising 20-day average.

For the daily setup, the chart places the nearest moving-average reference at $1.447, followed by $1.3672. Above price, $1.50 is the first round-number level, while the September high around $1.65 remains the most recent major peak.

The daily Chaikin Money Flow reading was negative at -0.08. That indicator measures where prices close within their trading ranges alongside volume; the reading signals selling pressure within its calculation period, rather than establishing that investors withdrew a specific dollar amount.

The 4-hour chart shows XRP below its $1.497 midpoint

On the 4-hour TradingView chart, XRP traded at $1.4785, just above the lower Bollinger Band at $1.4755. The band’s 20-period midpoint stood at $1.497, while its upper boundary was $1.5184.

The displayed band boundaries put the immediate technical range around $1.4755–$1.5184. A move above the midpoint would return price toward the upper half of that range, while a decline below the lower boundary would extend the current weakness beyond it.

Compared with the sharp September advance, the latest 4-hour candles occupied a much narrower price range. Both outer Bollinger Bands had drawn closer together as XRP settled near $1.48.

The Average Directional Index stood at 18.57 on that chart. Below the commonly used 25 threshold, the reading indicates limited trend strength; ADX alone does not identify whether the next move will be upward or downward.

In an Oct. 1 post, trader CW said XRP remained blocked by selling resistance and needed to break through the sell wall to demonstrate an upward move. His assessment focused on overhead selling pressure rather than naming a confirmed breakout.

Analysts place the XRP breakout threshold at $1.54

In a Sep. 30 post, Ali Charts said XRP appeared to be forming a symmetrical triangle on the hourly chart. His setup placed the key confirmation level at $1.54.

“I’m waiting for an hourly close above $1.54 to confirm the breakout.”

The analyst said a confirmed break could produce a roughly 10% rally toward $1.70. His target remains conditional on the hourly close he specified, with XRP’s displayed price around $1.48 still below that threshold.

CoinGlass’s one-week liquidation heatmap showed estimated liquidation concentrations above price around $1.56–$1.57 and $1.59–$1.60. Additional bands appeared around $1.63–$1.64.

Below the latest price, the heatmap showed concentrations around $1.46–$1.47, including a bright band near $1.46. Those levels represent estimated liquidation exposure rather than completed liquidations or guaranteed price destinations.

Across the week shown, CoinGlass’s price trace recorded a spike above $1.60, a subsequent decline toward $1.47 and another brief rebound toward $1.56. By the right edge of the chart, XRP had returned to the $1.48 area.

Evernorth’s merger vote advances the planned XRPN listing

According to the supplied report’s account of Armada’s Oct. 1 SEC filing, shareholders approved the Evernorth Business Combination Proposal with 19,331,337 votes in favor, 1,362,081 against, and 930 abstentions.

The separate Merger Proposal received 20,514,597 votes in favor, according to the same account. Shareholders also approved Armada’s proposed move from the Cayman Islands to Delaware and two nonbinding advisory proposals.

As crypto.news reported on Aug. 28, the registration statement became effective on Aug. 27, enabling the shareholder process. Evernorth’s disclosures distinguish SEC effectiveness from regulatory approval of the transaction’s investment merits.

For U.S. investors, the proposed transaction would establish a Nasdaq-listed company holding and managing XRP. Armada already uses XRPN for its ordinary shares and XRPNW for warrants, according to the supplied report, while the combined company expects to use XRPN after closing.

The Sep. 30 examination of the projected XRP treasury balance put expected holdings at at least 473,276,430 XRP, including approximately 126.79 million tokens contributed by Ripple and 84.37 million purchased for $214 million.

Separately, Sep. 21 coverage detailed Evernorth’s conditional convertible note financing of $30 million. According to the disclosed agreement, the 4% payment-in-kind notes mature in 2031, with issuance and payment scheduled alongside the business combination’s closing.
