XRP is moving deeper into Wall Street. This is true, as Aviva Investors today announced its strategic decision to launch a tokenized money-market fund on Ripple’s XRP Ledger.
Aviva Investors is a UK-based investment management company that focuses on long-term capital growth for institutional and private investors, commercial borrowers, and business entities.

Aviva Investors expands liquidity fund to XRP
According to the announcement, Aviva Investors has added XRP Ledger to its institutional crypto strategy. The investment management platform launched a tokenized share class of its £22 billion (around $29.4 billion) sterling liquidity fund on the XRP Ledger, according to the report.
The fund leverages UK Sterling-denominated short-term debt instruments to unlock round-the-clock liquidity for investors. With this strategic debut, Aviva Investors has expanded the fund’s on-chain investment applications for institutional capital management, powered by the Ripple blockchain.
With the integration, the XRP Ledger now enables the investment platform to efficiently issue and manage the tokenized GBP liquidity fund, driven by XRP’s rapid, secure, and low-cost blockchain transactions. The move marks a crucial step in Aviva Investors’ strategy to widen its digital asset offerings and expand liquidity options for institutional investors.
The Sterling Liquidity Fund was introduced in 2002 and has operated in a “digital twin” framework, where investor holdings run on-chain while the fund continues to operate off-chain.
The integration and its meaning for investors
Aviva Investors’ new expansion aims to leverage the unique capabilities of XRP Ledger to offer more diversified and on-demand on-chain liquidity solutions. By integrating XRP, the traditional investment platform aims to give customers more investment options and access to a wider range of digital assets.
A major Wall Street player launching a money market fund on the XRP network signals growing user interest in blockchain technologies. The aim is to create new opportunities for investors seeking exposure to the burgeoning digital economy.
