XRPL-Based Girin Card Receives FinCEN MSB License
The self-custody crypto payment card secured approval under the Bank Secrecy Act’s AML/CTF framework to process real-world payments using XRP and RLUSD. Also, this marks a major step toward establishing banking relations and partnering with major institutions.
Girin Labs said “The regulatory foundation is set. One step closer to making XRPL the rails for everyday spending.” The registration covers the specific payment flows such as enabling compliant conversion and settlement of crypto assets.
Girin Card was introduced as the first XRPL-native self-custody card in March this year. Visa-powered card to enable users to spend XRP and RLUSD at over 130 million merchants across more than 150 countries.
The XRPL-native self-custody crypto card’s roadmap includes enterprise-grade APIs and white-label payment infrastructure. It will allow partners to launch their own card programs on rails that Girin has already built and tested.
As payment systems bridge the gap to Web3, merchants and consumers alike are seeking the best crypto cards 2026 to optimize their cashbacks and transaction fees.
XRP Price Falls Holds $1 Support
XRP price failed to hold upside momentum and fell to the $1 psychological level as Clarity Act passing odds dropped. Senate is set to vote on the crypto bill on September 15.
White House crypto advisor Patrick Witt said the Trump administration remains fully committed to passing the Clarity Act in September. Meanwhile, the SEC planned a meeting to consider new rules for crypto investment contracts.
XRP price prediction pointed out that a break below the psychological support will plunge the price to $0.98 and then $0.95. The Relative Strength Index has dropped to 30.77, with XRP price approaching the oversold region.
However, a recovery to $1.02 will trigger XRP price upside momentum towards $1.05 resistance. The price must reclaim $1.05 before targeting $1.08 and $1.10.
XRP futures open interest has climbed significantly in the past 24 hours. The futures OI is up more than 8% to $2.77 billion in the past 24 hours. This likely comes amid XRP Ledger 3.3.0 upgrade and new options targeting the early bull market recovery.
