Polymarket US has filed with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) to list Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana price contracts for trading in the United States. This comes as the prediction market acquired QCEX to re-enter the US.

Polymarket US Plans to Launch Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana Price Contracts

According to filings with the US CFTC, QCEX has self-certified a new set of crypto price event contracts under the federal regulations. QCEX, operating at Polymarket US, plans to list Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana price contracts on the platform.

This clears the path for Polymarket US to list the contracts as soon as August 28. The move is a self-certification, not a formal CFTC product approval. The agency can still review or stay the contracts before they go live.

Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana products are event contracts tied to crypto prices, not leveraged perpetual futures. Traders would take positions on whether Bitcoin, Ethereum or Solana price will trade above, below, or within a stated level at a given time.

These are binary options contracts and Polymarket users are required to bet ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ on event contracts such as “Will the value of Bitcoin be above $95,000.00 at 2:30 PM ET on August 31, 2026.” Ethereum and Solana filings follow the same structure.

Prices would settle using CF Benchmarks data rather than a single exchange print. Contracts are fully collateralized $1 contracts, meaning traders post the full amount at risk upfront.

If listed on schedule, US users would be able to trade BTC, ETH and SOL price questions on Polymarket’s regulated exchange as soon as this Friday.

BTC, ETH, and SOL Prices Eye Upside Momentum

Bitcoin price fell below $78K after PCE inflation data came in hot. However, BTC price jumped almost 2% to reclaim $80,000 over the past 24 hours amid bullish sentiment. Trading volume has increased by 5% over the past 24 hours.

As CoinGape reported, BlackRock’s digital assets head Robert Mitchnick said Bitcoin‘s macro case is strengthening with growing US debt and fiscal concerns. This increase the odds of Bitcoin price rally in coming months.

Meanwhile, Ethereum price jumped 3% in the past 24 hours, with the price currently trading at $2,505. The 24-hour low and high are $2,433 and $2,558, respectively. Furthermore, trading volume has increased by 24% in the last 24 hours, indicating a rise in interest among traders. Polymarket participants believe Ethereum price will not dip to $1,750 again this year.

Solana price surpassed the $100 psychological level after a more than 7% jump. It hit a 24-hour high of $105.55. The daily active addresses on Solana have jumped massively over the past 24 hours. Solana price prediction pointed to further upside toward $120.
