Strive’s Strong $143M Buy Hits 23,156 BTC Total

Strive made a massive purchase of Bitcoins to get faster by way of buying Bitcoin worth $143 million. This will increase their BTC reserves by another 1,800 coins up to a total of 23,156 coins as it seems large institutional buyers are back.

The company has released their Form 8-K on August 31 disclosing they did the buying between August 24-28 at the average of $79,431 per share including fees.

Holding increased 2,1356 BTC from the previous week following another buy of 1,110 BTC for $81.5 million. This was a record for Strive in terms amount of purchase, even larger 5,816 BTC was acquired back then in the deal involving Semler Scientific merger in September 2025.

Financing and Capital Constitution

Co-founded by Vivek Ramaswamy and led by CEO Matt Cole Strive Inc. (Nasdaq: ASST) raised money using at-the-machine issuance. Class A common stock shares went from 72 million to 83.4 million which is an increase of 3.5 million.

SATA perpetual preferred shares increased to 9.07 million. Total cash went up to $183.5 million from $171.9 million, while BTC effective per share rose 4.3% to 0.000248 BTC, which is faster and wider reaching than any dilution effects.

Why It is important for Treasury Adoption

A purchase came hand in hand with Strategy’s acquisition of 4,603 BTC totaling $370 million after being on hold for two months, summing up to $513 billion in five days. Strive, a publicly listed stock, is the seventh-top corporate entity holding Bitcoin as per BitcoinTreasuries.net.

Equity Model Limits

The company’s debt-free model is an equity-based one and the holders are paid dividends at variable rates of up to 13 % through SATA preferred instead of being issued convertible debt. This way liquidation risk is minimal but growth is restricted by equity market performance and maintaining SATA holdings value above $100 par.
